Some people are entirely defined by their perspective on God and sin and heaven and hell. And to them this state-led effort to teach their children something contrary to that is basically a declaration of oppression or violence. The majority of Jews, Christians, Muslims, or what have you are not going to accept the state intentionally teaching the children that god is wrong or a monster or effectively not real. It's crazy. |
