It got nowhere because I only ever had technical writing classes in college.

Write from the heart. I always write junk for fun, no good, but I get excited to write it. I just thought of a story idea that I want to write, no classes on my part, just like a little kid drawing a picture.

We can even do a little CE writing club.

I can enjoy a good turn-based game. Does it feel grindy at all or are we good?

I recently played and fully beat Octopath, which I know is very different than FF turn-based (and most traditional turn-based games); the gameplay was still stellar because it felt like a good evolution of the genre. It did get easier in the end due to the nature of leveling up and expanding the skillset, until the end where it became a little grindy. Overall, a great experience, JRPG's are fun here and there, and it feels like I should play FFVII at some point.

Can't get in for hours now.

Also, was suspicious of how well I was doing, it appears this game has you face off solely against bots/human ghosts, no actual races against others. Hopefully that is just a Beta feature...

The game has auto-accelerate, so it's not as satisfying tbh. You could argue it was the only way, but they could have had a little speed/direction pad.

I hate the feel of weight in this game, what about you @NeoBowser

I mean, it's Mario Kart Mobile, but bleh. Having auto-accelerate, and a quasi smart-steering mechanic takes away a lot of the actual feeling of control.

Let's just turn this into a Mario Kart 9 lookout thread. Literally has been nearly 5 years since Mario Kart 8 released, we are due for a Mario Kart 9 soon. Or at least, we would be if Mario Kart 8 Deluxe wasn't selling like hotcakes, they might intentionally delay MK9 to allow MK8D to continue to sell for the time-being. MK8 is excellent of course, but I have played my fair share, and am hungry for a new feel. Need that new Kart smell. I just want some Broodals, Cappy, and Pauline for new chars. Wouldn't mind customization in terms of outfits and kart parts, and a track editor. Also, get rid of the Blooper, worst item in the game.

He's only being reckless because everyone in the left lane is breaking the law: keep right if not passing or exiting. And even if it is a state with no law to keep right, keeping right is the right thing to do.

And what he is doing is more reckless than what they are doing. He gets to his destination maybe a minute quicker, but risks a serious accident by what he is doing.

I dont think Mr. Krabs is expressly called a good guy. Spongebob is clearly portrayed as somewhat oblivious to his abuses, and Squidward expresses open contempt for him and his practices. Meanwhile Plankton seeks the secret formula both to satisfy a grudge and potentially as a stepping stone in a plan to rule the world. One of his earliest appearances involves putting a control unit on Spongebob's fucking brain.

Really if you think about it chronologically, Mr. Krabs reveals himself to be pretty shitty and money-obsessed but Plankton was about never on a right side.

I think there are multiple SpongeBob timelines. One where Plankton is not totally evil, and one where Krabs is a legitimately terrible person.
