I did watch the trailer and some gameplay footage. I was thinking of the Ratchet & Clank games when I mentioned popular 3d platformers, but it looks more exciting than any of them, at least.

Seeing as you intend to do the other three games first, will you have the time and desire to make an effort to beat and talk about it? If so, that's good enough for me.

None of the games are that long, are they? I beat Dragon Quest XI recently, and I'm pretty sure that's significantly longer than all four put together. I don't think the holidays will be particularly busy for me, so time shouldn't be a problem.

I can promise you I'll play for at least two hours, and give my opinion on it. I think I remember it being described as difficult, I kind of suck at 3d platformers, and I don't always like games in the genre (including some rather popular ones), but I'll make the effort.

Option 2 sounds more fun to me, for the birthday poll.

I'd definitely appreciate the Cloudbuilt key (I'm planning to buy it,) although I'd understand if you want to give the keys to people more confident they'll stick with it.

Super Cloudbuilt and Guacamelee 2 are on sale for $5 and $6 respectively at the Humble Store. I think I'll try to play all four games this month, although I'm not confident I'll end up beating Cloudbuilt.

I've only played about 5 hours of it, but from what I've seen, if you want a game like Shenmue 1-2, you'll probably enjoy it.

It doesn't feel like a modern game at all, it has awful cutscene direction, Ryo's voice actor is just as (entertainingly) awful as he ever was, the gameplay is still 95% walking around asking people questions, and the combat system (while different) still seems pretty shallow. I'm enjoying it a lot, though, but I think most of it is out of nostalgia.

This might be the biggest barrier to 100%, then. The hardest parts of the dancing game took me a lot of attempts, I still (mostly) enjoyed it the whole time, but it can get tough.

Romancing SaGa 3

I'd call SaGa Frontier one of my favorite RPGs, but for some reason this is only the second game in the franchise I've ever finished (unless you count The Last Remnant.) I don't love it as much as I do Frontier, but I can imagine the roles being reversed if this were the first game in the series I had played. Going to start a replay to see if I like the ruling/war minigames, but I'm not expecting much.

Hill going down scared the hell out of me (I had Hill+18 points vs Nanahara with Watkins,) but thankfully the week 1 repeat never happened.

Of course, if Hill misses much time, it might be more of a stay of execution than anything.

Fire Emblem 7

Turbopuns' topic made me want to play this again, so I built a team off of his draft results. I'm not that great at Fire Emblem, though, so I decided to try Hector normal mode. I remembered HNM being harder than it actually was, though, so I ended up getting through it without having to restart. A regular, no restrictions run of Hector Hard would have been way more challenging. Whoops.

Don't think I've ever played a game quite like that. Going to have to play this again some time for sure, I'm sure there's a lot I missed, and I'm curious how the game looks if you lean in to the main character's bad qualities.
