Yeah, I have a friend who is FtM and I accidently misgender them *all the time,* but that being said its not someone that I had never known before that popped up at work, its someone I knew as a female for a bajillion years. I think if it was a person I just met I'd be able to get it right.

But yeah hard for us to tell if its an accident or on purpose, but if you are pretty sure its on purpose I would probably just go to HR or encourage the new worker to do so.

Can't really think of any... I have a few cousins that are kinda scummy but all I ever hear is bits and pieces and never really see them anymore, like maybe once in the last decade or two at a funeral, so while if I had to associate with them more I'd probably dislike them, I just never really even think about them at all. >_>

I know a few missionaries and lots of people that went on "mission trips" to build a school and play soccer with kids or whatever for a couple weeks. And a nurse that went down to do medically things in a clinic, etc. Dunno why everyone here thinks that's so terrible.

I'm baffled by people who say Dominos is terrible. Is their franchises just different where they live? Because here, Dominies has a great fluffy, buttery crust, savory cheese, solid toppings, and not fucking gross with grease. Pizza Hot and Papa Johns both have extremely bland thin crust with puddles of grease collecting on top of the cheese. Toppings are fine I guess. Little Caesars and Cicis are basically fucking pizza abortions that are worse than oven pizzas.

Could be location, my local Pizza Hut is poop but I've been to others that are very different (and better).

I wouldn't say it's my #1, but honestly if you get the right thing its really, really good and far less expensive than anywhere else that's decent. We have local places I really like and get once in a while but if I can have almost as good pizza for like a third of the price I'm gonna do that once in a while, too.

While I'm sure there are child molesters in all walks of life, I never really hear about it with any frequency among protestant Christians compared to Catholics. I think most denominations would kick you out if caught, but I guess nothing is stopping anyone from being a pastor with no official denomination affiliation if a random church doesn't do a proper background check.

Yeah, I try to just go as early as they let me so I'm the first one in or at least don't have too many people ahead of me to knock the timing off too badly.

I had to get allergy shots every week as a kid and didn't even need to see a doctor for those, just walk in, sit down, nurse does shot, I get a sticker, and leave but even just getting back to do that would take forever usually.

Of course that was "forever" in little kid time.

Yeah, would've gotten it anyway but I'm pretty okay with it being free with my phone plan.

As of this moment I also have Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Hulu, WWE Network, and basic cable, but I'm gonna dump the Netflix and Hulu for now and go from regular cable back to Sling TV. I don't really use Prime Video very much and definitely wouldn't pay just for that, but obviously you get all the other Prime benefits.

I think I'm barely a Millennial, on the older end of the generation, and like... everyone I know my age has a normal job and a spouse and kids (or at least an ex-spouse!) that they support and isn't getting handouts from their parents or the government in any bigger way than the previous generation.

Same, too early to say (and obviously we don't know who will be the nominee anyway) but I think I could maybe be talked into crossing party lines and voting Biden or Mayor. Warren or Sanders, I probably don't vote, vote actual conservative that is running third party like last time.

I mean if Trump and Pence both went at the same time and Paul Ryan was still the Speaker and became President, he was known for being antagonistic to Trump so he'd have a shot... but Pence being his VP and even if not in on some underhanded dealings that get him impeached being along for the ride the entire time, the American people probably wouldn't trust a sudden denouncement.

I honestly don't think I've ever been to a panda express. Regular Chinese takeout spots have always done fine by me.

Yeah, I tried it just to try it when one opened here. Wasn't horrible but wasn't great and it's a bad cost/quantity/quality ratio compared to literally every other Chinese place in town.

We forgot to enroll our daughter by the deadline, missed it by just a few days.

So when we discovered this we contacted the insurance company and they were like, "oh okay yeah no problem we'll just make it look like it was done by the deadline."

So its a shame they didn't do that for her, but at the same time they obviously aren't under that obligation. On the bright side hospitals have financial aid and will write stuff off, etc, so unless the woman is super rich she won't have to pay *too* much probably.

No, my current job doesn't let me get over time anyway so I max out at 40. I used to take time off here and there for specific reasons but fairly rarely--then my daughter was born and I feel like every other week the babysitter can't watch her or she's sick or has a doctor appointment or something... I actually wouldn't mind getting a part time job on top of what I have but my availability is too sporadic now.
