How You Don't Play

How You Vote

How You Lynch

Depends on the chemical. I mean technically water is corrosive.

For intellectual property reasons, I can't name the chemical, but it's corrosive in the sense that it causes chemical burns upon contact and is UN1760 placarded

One of my coworkers was accidentally sprayed with corrosive chemicals this morning, so I had to work late. Will still get roles out tonight, but will be a little later than expected.

You know, I wonder if the edit of Rick was chosen so a) Chris looks like he got a big win, b) so we weren't thinking Gavin or Julie really deserved it, and c) so that the viewers would "understand" that coming back from EoE could give you a really good player.

Knowing Chris won and knowing they couldn't really edit him, it makes more sense for why Rick was so paramount- he's a stand-in as "the EoE returnee."

Wow he could have totally saved Elias life. Its still cheating on her even if he got the marriage annulled since she didnt know. How can you have something annulled without the consent or even knowledge of one of the only two people involved. Pretty messed up. Why the secrecy? If they were gonna marry and werent just planning an affair theres no reason to not just say, its not like people wouldnt find out, its like Rhaegar knew hed never have to worry.

Now I want to see an AU where Rhaegar has to explain himself. Which kid will inherent? Your first son or your new son? Both named Aegon? I want to see the wars fought over that.

The new son (Jon Snow). The annulment means the first marriage was never legal, so based on Westerosi law, the children Rhaegar had with Elia are bastards.

Youd think she would have told her family in that case and this wouldnt have been much of a secret, right? Also what a terrible thing to do, name your new favorite son Aegon all over again while you still having a living son named Aegon. May as well named Jon Good Aegon. Is that the only Targaryen name the show creators knew?

Rhaegar ran off with Lyanna. He had his marriage annulled and then married Lyanna in a secret ceremony.

She got preggo.

He left her in Dorne and met his forces at The Trident, where he fell to Robert Baratheon in combat.

This was the penultimate scene in Season 7, how did you possibly miss this?

One thing I still dont understand and the show never addressed- how in the heck is Jon Snow legit and not just a bastard of a different color? Rhaegar was married to the Martel girl that Tywin had the Mountain kill and her children by him, just like Robert Baratheon wanted. Now the War of the Usurper didnt last years Im pretty sure. So at what point did Rhaegar have the opportunity to marry Lyanna? The only time that being a bastard matters is in the Faith of the Seven and Old God religions, and Im presuming he was a the Seven believer like all Targs were. The Seven would not acknowledge being married to two people and is super against polyamory. So Jon would still be a bastard in this case. Did he hear the Martel girl died and was like sweet my wife is dead time to marry Lyanna? In that case Jon Snow wouldnt have had time to be born because the war didnt last long enough. And Tywin only joined the war at the very end, after Rhaegar was dead. So whats the deal?

A septon annulled his marriage and then immediately married him to Lyanna.

This was like a big point in the last ten minutes of the Season 7 finale.

Except the Tyrells are dead by that point, I'd argue there's a higher oath to uphold to the crown, and Dany doesn't know this anyways because she didn't know who Randyl Tarly even was, so it's immaterial to her motives anyways.

I mean, I can't think that Dany sits there thinking that she is even going to be able to roast Jon in the first place- she knows he's a Targ, and trying to burn him just confirms he's a Targ and gives his claim more credence than "Sam and Bran say he's a Targ."
