It isn't racist. You forget most of the people here aren't successful people. They have an odd bent on the world and victim complexes skew a sound point of view. Just ignore them. If they respond to you? Ignore them. They feed on contention.

I graduated from a university and make over 70k a year. To them, I'm rich and an outlier here. To me and reality, I'm barely a moderate success. I want you to think about that hard for a bit. The people here do not represent society at all. They are an extremely unique concentrated sample. It simply seems like they are a majority. They are not.

I once did a poll here and like 85% are nerdy as hell. They are like 95% male too and hardly any of them likes macho or manly things. And many of them think negatively of such things.

They are not the real world and never will be.

I would be more generous when speaking of them, but having been here off and on for years, they have shown me they are very bitter and contentious. Not all of them to be sure, but a loud choir of them are.

I like the site, but I feel like so many of the people there are guys and yet they act like they're all at a wake sulking and commiserating about life. Once in a while is ok, but it's over and over every day. It just feels depressing and weak.

I guess the only other thing that's annoying is this obsession over likes or what they iconify as that green arrow. It just seems childish and an unapologetic appeal to wanting superficial approval therapy on the internet.

It's a bit jarring experiencing these odd social communities on the internet. They seem so unlike the real world. It's as if a bunch of like minded people found each other and become a hivemind.

Other than that though, I like browsing the pictures. It's just that the commenters seem like they're living in hell. I couldn't stand thinking negatively that way day in and day out. It's almost as if they're infecting me with their anemia.

Don't bother looking into it too hard. It's a place that you will see mods acting like children and bullying users only to laugh at their demise. It's also one of the highest ban-to-post ratio boards on the site. There are dark old entities there with powers to abuse the rules and ban your account with no recourse.

The main players are:
-Boss mods
-Mods you've never heard of
-Disgruntled moderated people who end up disappointed 99.99% of the time.
-Mod orbiter butt kissers who troll the above in order to gain favor. Note: they never get made into mods.

Hellhole is basically the black market Ask The Mods board where you go if you want to be tortured even more and get dogpiled unprofessionally for your enjoyment.

It does serve one special purpose though. You may use it to call out the darkest of mods and humiliate them into acting out in front of all their friends. The price is usually your account and satisfaction is not guaranteed.
