Well, they've been dropping hints about her past for years. I figured it was leading to something. A prequel movie about her seems logical to me.

Pretty sure it's confirmed to be about her past, and I assume it will involve Budapest which would mean Hawkeye appears. Guess we'll see how he saved her?

People might care even more now since she is dead. There won't be any more of her in the future, her past is all that's left for us to see. At least for me, if she was still alive I would care much less about her prequel movie.
