By any chance, does the arc's finale involve Haruhi being omnipotent and controlling everything? Because I remember reading that in a MPFC contest years ago and that unfortunately that stuck with me, and always wondered whether that was established early on or an end-of-series thing... guess I'll find out!

In any case, I'm sold on broadcast order, though I'm giving Inviso final veto on the order decision as the truest Haruhi fan here.

Haruhi dub is pretty good imo. Crispin Freeman does a great job as Kyon and that's the most important thing. It's worth a shot.

Officially sold on the dub, I know he's done a ton of VA work but his name is burned in my memory for his Albedo, so, good name to drop.

I was told about broadcast vs chronological lists too, eh... I've got them in chronological order right now so was going to just do them that way, surely broadcast order would be confusing? Did they broadcast out of order on purpose? That's something I expect from the early 2000s Fox network...

Yeah I only ever do subbed but that's been more out of necessity than having an option, and I've never liked the dub enough compared to the original (Brotherhood was probably the best of what I've seen). Think I might go dubbed since it'd free me up for some light multitasking rather than the intensive focus a subbed shows requires...

Damn, Haruhi was the one I really intended to go dubbed for. There's songs? Can I skip over them or do they have some value? What have I committed myself to...

Good news everyone!

I am now in possession of LoGH, MHA, Haruhi and better quality versions of Kenshin and Monster than I already had. I forgot to get FTNW... definitely will in the future.

Looks like I've got both dub and sub options for MHA and Haruhi. Anyone who's watched either/or: are the dubs acceptable or should I stick subbed for both?

LoGH is just subbed and is the one I'm most excited to watch, though I'm going to watch Haruhi first in honour of its victory last year. So, just some more motivation for the MHA fans to make it win this year so it'll be next up!

(though I'm still hoping for a Monster rewatch)

That would be truly terrible unless they really do restrict him to 5 minutes once a week. Like if TSN cuts in on whatever their saturday night programming is with their own "Coach's Corner" at precisely the time CBC would be airing theirs (assuming they even maintain that concept and don't revert to a roundtable panel after the first period)... that would be hilarious.

The time off was good, I wouldve missed the entirety of a Saturday round... so that was a relief
