Update: I flat out told her no (in a nice way) and to come on her own (this tactic has worked before). She said no but once her gf was comfortable with me we could hang out alone. I switched the outting to drinks and picked a place close by me. So that minimizes risk at least.

My statement jad no such clause.

Rather, I was saying if you take the family route, abandoning your parents is bad idea unless they are bad people.

You implied it via a false choice that life either ends with a family or with meaningless one night stands

I still think it's more likely that you misread the context, but admittedly that's me making an assumption based on it being something that was said during a comedy show, and the fact that literally everyone I've ever heard say this irl was being tongue in cheek.

But you're right man, I haven't watched the specific comedy special you're referring to. Sounds like a barrel of...um, seriousness?

Not everything said in a comedy act is a joke. Comedy is based in real life. She talks about her real life quite a bit. It wasnt a joke. And I've heard it said seriously plenty of times, including tons on this board

My claim was that it's an answer that's not intended to be taken literally, which being part of a comedy act makes it even more obvious that this is the case. I'm not sure why you would think otherwise. All of the context you've provided backs up the idea that it was not meant to be taken as a serious reason.

Bro, idk how you can even remotely make that assumption...did you see her comedy act of which I am referring? You're making a whole lot of assumptions w.o the proper context. Go watch it for yourself and you'll see that she was 100% serious and 100% dumb about it

I wonder if you will ever realize that all this effort is a waste of time when it never goes anywhere, eventually it will get old and I have a feeling your going to regret it one day.

Even having a long term casual relationship is more meaningful then what you do as you will atleast be able to bond with someone and actually get to know them vs just looking for random ass.

not everyone is the same. i have absolutely no interest in relationships. i do bond with girls. sooner than later it doesn't work out and i'll move onto another girl. that's all the intimacy i need/want/can handle. at this point in my life i barely have any emotions (due to a rough upbringing that was further desensitized by learning pick up). but that doesn't mean i have no emotions. i do like meeting and getting to know girls. i like the balance of being able to do that. but i don't want any relationships to last that long because ultimately i just want to go home and be by myself. and there is nothing wrong with that, it's just the way i'm wired.

as a "professional" pick up artist you should fucking know that flirting means nothing, it's just flirting, it's a natural interaction that doesn't guarantee anything

jfc just admit you have shit luck with women already and have to compensate by bragging about your supposed conquests and your epic engineering job where you try to make up for your poor game by supposedly spending thousands of dollars on watches

did I nail your gimmick correctly, or did I leave something out

Where did I say it guaranteed anything lol. But it sets the tone and is the first step on the pathway to seduction. Cant reach the final journey w.o the first step.

I actually have better luck than I should overall with women. I just have a larger sample size than anyone else and find the "failures" more interesting. Look at it this way: pro teams re watch games that were close and they lost. It's the best way to learn

as a professional pick up artist i know labels don't matter, tone and feelings matter more. we've been flirting hardcore, so even if she tells herself "it's not a date" that doesn't mean it wouldn't end up in sex. and if it ends up in sex, who cares what the label was?

They just want to use you for a free dinner, the bi girl wants to invite her gf so they both get a free meal out of it, and you think you have a shot at one of both of them which you actually don't.

If anything you are the "odd man out", or "third wheel" here but you do not see this based on your posts.

That's a possibility, but it's never been discussed that I would pay. And I wouldnt pay if they both show up. More likely they just want to hang and have a good time.

For the vast majority of guys, they would become the 3rd wheel. Luckily for me I spent 10 years studying pick up including concepts such as "control of the interaction". It is near impossible to force me into a 3rd wheel role, even if they are dating. Now I'm not saying it's easy, it definitely comes with pain as it requires much more effort on my part. So gotta debate if it's worth it

Right. Just prepare for an evening where you are the third wheel on everything and they may just ditch you.

Did you make it clear that this is a date or is it just like a "let's hangout" situation?

all a possibility. i never use the word "date" explicitly with girls since it has certain negative connotations attached to it (ie the guy pays, have to wait 3 dates for sex etc). rather i subcommunicate flirty vibes so she knows we have sexual chemistry and then once she shows up i'll slowly amp up the seduction. i can do that with 2 girls, but it's much much harder
