The combination of her dad dying and then Max ghosting her at her lowest point warps her for sure, but the alternate timeline shows you "pure" Chloe. | FFDragon 12/19/19 5:09:03 PM #1 | Life is Strange 1/Before the Storm spoilers obv I've started on my immense backlog, especially those that I missed completely during my dark era and after RE2Make this was the one I really wanted to get to. I didn't think a prequel could work to LiS since... Well we knew how it all ends, but damn was I wrong. In some aspects it even hits harder than the original. The end of Episode one where Rachel goes all pyro has stuck with me the most, I haven't been able to stop listening to "Flaws" since then. But yes, Chloe. Seeing the evolution of her relationship with Rachel and why she was so hellbent on finding her really just fully fleshed out the character. After BtS, the end of LiS Ep4 hits even harder. And Rachel isn't a great person, but then again neither is Max. But everything comes together where you get the full feel of Chloe's character. And BtS only strengthens my resolve in #SacrificeChloe, don't @ me. I think it's the perfect end to her arc and makes her a nearly perfect character. Since there's only like 2 weeks left in this year, I doubt my mind changes on this either. With just LiS Chloe was top ten, with BtS she's the runaway (no pun) number one.
