yeah, beating the game at Squall's initial level was a Steam achievement. At a glance it looks like they dropped that, the 10,000 kills (phew) and Chocobo World-related stuff (good). They also dropped getting all of Rinoa and Quistis' limits.

I would've liked the initial level one, and a time-limited one too. The Timber Maniacs one is the one I'm most concerned about, pretty sure I've never gotten all of them in any of my many playthroughs.

I looked at the achievements for the old Steam version, and boy, 10,000 kills again.... it was bad in IX but it's going to be so much worse in this one if that becomes a trophy. I don't even remember there being packs of 4 enemies in this game like FF9 has?

Not a fan of a few other trophy possibilities there, seems like lots of missable opportunities, eh... guess we'll see how it shakes out.

I want to see what the static theme is but I guess if I'm going to buy it regardless, no harm in preordering anyways...!

This is the part where someone tells me someone did something like this in the first 19 iterations, right? (I know it didn't happen last year)

Lying awake in bed last night I realized Cissnei can't be in the 7 remake since, other than making the Compilation canon, she'd recognize Cloud since she already met him, let alone his wielding Zack's Buster Sword and we can't have that happening in Remake Part 1.

So back on hoping they give Dark Nation a proper appearance to guarantee his XXII entry, if only for greengravy's sake.

We need more hot takes, damn it.

I still believe in the Lightning run this year. The Auron redemption run, not as much...

Tifa is due for a deep run! In XXII, still hoping for Sephiroth redemption run this year. Though if Cissnei turns up in the remake...
