3D was hardly the selling point of the 3DS. The advantage it had over the 2DS was having a hinge over being a big hunk of plastic that was much less portable and much more prone to breaking (I should know because I had 2 2DS break on me before I get a New 3DS XL)

Kids (it being lighter, cheaper, and without detachable joycons to lose is the boon here) and frequent travelers. Cant imagine why it doesnt have a kickstand though considering you can still connect controllers to it (which youd have to considering theres no other way to play local single console multiplayer). Also, really hoping for owners of this, that the charging port isnt on the bottom...

Nintendo sure as hell shouldve solved the joycon drift problem by now if theyre selling this though. You cant swap out faulty controllers this time when theyre hardwired into the system.

Moving and shooting feels wholly unnecessary except in some boss fights... which you can kite around easily enough for it to not be a problem anyways

Okay so there were some hard fights this session. Thank god I had an RPG for that room with the two scissor guys because there was no way I was killing them otherwise. The sewer part... it started out as fear but quickly turned to annoyance when I realized I actually had to wait the whole 4 minutes with... whatever that black figure was chasing me. God. I also killed Salazar and arrived at the island.

Also can we talk about the quick time events in this game? They are ridiculous on so many levels... (was this game made when the QTE trend was in full swing? It sure feels like it).

Shotguns stun them pretty well. I dont try to use a pistol on them, its worth wasting the shotgun shells to put them down.

Its more the fact that they move fast compared to the slower Ganados tbh. That and the tank controls being more of a hindrance than usual. I definitely use the shotgun since theyre close though.

I don't think I could do well with the controls on the PC version :O I'm playing the PS2 (pal) version and it's easy to get used to the controls on there, also I get the pleasure of being able to choose Easy mode right from the beginning which gives less enemies but does cut out parts of the game but maybe I'll play it on Normal mode one day too!

It is rather different from the older RE games as others mentioned and there's a few enemies that I find pretty horrifying and some areas that reallly pissed me off but aside from that it's still a great game!

Easy mode is available from the start on PC too. I picked normal though. Besides a few times in the beginning where they flood you with enemies while youre struggling to learn the tank controls the spawns arent that bad. Ive mostly died to QTEs, bosses and... health greed because I dont want to use up all of my health supplies because Ill need them later.

The room I honestly had most trouble with so far is that one in the castle where you have to lift Ashley up so she can turn the 2 cranks to make platforms. The zombies kept grabbing her and I kept accidentally instakilling her with the rifle...

Its pretty fun ngl. Im at chapter 2-3 rn.

I will say the tank controls still feel kinda weird and hamper me when Im panicking with a lot of enemies around.

Also, Im miffed that the slow-mo bug on PC forced me to set the game to run at 30FPS.

I got this game and REmake 2 during the Summer Sale. Is the Ada stuff worth doing after I beat RE4?

Can't put more than 1 checkpoint per area/subarea unfortunately

Also since you can't make vertical sidescrollers have custom speed (which you'll notice the main area has) I opted to have it set to "normal" because i didn't want it to be TOO easy.

It's meant to be something you run through fast. You see the shell, you see the switch, you kick the shell into the switch.

At least that was my mentality when I was making the level.

My next level, which I'm creating now, is definitely not a sidescroller lol
