Western European here, we do.
But it's more like turkey filet and sausages and such. I have never even seen a fully roasted one you guys traditionally serve on Thanksgiving though a friend of mine grew up with that as his yearly Christmas dinner.

Probably for the best. The meat is a bit dry, so it's tricky to roast right.

I don't really see the point of impeaching. The Senate is going to vote to acquit, so all it's going to end up doing in the end is emboldening him and his supporters.

Embolden them to what? Vote how they were going to anyway?

How many Trump supporters that are still on board are just waiting for a good argument from the Democrats to swap sides?

Yeah, this is what I don't get about Pelosi's argument against impeachment. It's simply not based in reality. Trump's supporters tend to be the kind of older, upper middle class white people who show up to vote on town budgets.
Failing to impeach, of course, dissatisfies the Democratic base and also signals to people who aren't really paying attention that Trump hasn't done anything that merits impeachment. In short, by failing to impeach Trump, the Democratic leadership in Congress is helping to downplay Trump's malfeasance.

Yeah even if Pelosi had the guts to start the proceedings it would die in the Senate.

But she doesn't have the guts.

Well, she can't do it, it would undermine Biden's message of bi-partisanship and put all incumbent Republican Senators on record thinking an unpopular incumbent's crimes are no big deal.
It would just be rude!

ElatedVenusaur

The American system simply doesn't support anything else. The nature of the Senate does two things: 1) It makes individual senators extremely powerful and 2) It drastically overpowers the minority. Basically, individual senators are allowed to gum up the works of actually considering and voting on bills, and a minority can grind the entire chamber to a halt with little effort unless there is a supermajority(60+ votes). Lately Republicans have exploited this to torpedo the entire Obama administration and Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has made no secret that he plans to do the same to the next Democratic president. Trump, in spite of being a Republican, can't pass anything that Mitch McConnell doesn't also want. If you were to split the Senate between 3+ parties, you would need two or more parties to agree to work together to do even the most basic things. Really, the Senate as is is killing American democracy.

Retail sucks. Even "good" retail jobs generally don't bother to pretend you aren't considered replaceable. Your manager is probably incompetent, but then their job is probably impossible due to insane corporate mandates aimed at reducing labor costs as much as possible so the shareholders can reap as much profit as possible. Your customers make the same five jokes all the time, and that's the nice ones. The mean ones are insane lunatics who are dissatisfied when they learn the employee that maybe slightly inconvenienced them haven't been fired.

AA2 - The scene where you uncover the truth about Matt Engarde. The way he completely changes his demeanor, the music, the way he warns you that "ignorance is bliss", it's beyond goddamned perfect!
AA3 - Cross-examining Dahlia in Case 5 is tense as hell. And then your reward is Mia tearing her a new one: Dahlia was channeled by Maya, the very person she was supposed to kill! Also, that scream! For my money, it remains the most surprising and dramatic breakdown in the series. Mia will always own your ass, Dahlia, even in the Spirit Realm!

Yeah, seriously. Let the big guy be playable in 2 games of his own series. Plus, then K. Rool is just reflexively kidnapping whichever Kong beat him last(or at least the one he blames for it), which is funnier.
They also did a bad job communicating that Baron K. Roolenstein is supposed to be King K. Rool, for a game with more "story" than the other two combined. I do like that he just changes his gimmick every game though.

I don't think a properly Will Smith-ified genie would be as beloved as the original, but at least it would be fresh. That seems to apply to the whole movie though.

What does this mean, exactly? Why should he need to redeem himself? You can hate the source material for whatever reason, but Twilight was a decent adaptation and he did a great job at playing the part.

It's more that it's well-known he hates Twilight, and if he nails Batman, people will remember him more for that than for playing Edward in Twilight. Which would undoubtedly make him happy.
