Yep yep. Lots of games lately I can only play in spurts but this game is the first in a while where I really look forward to continuing. Cal isn't the most compelling protag but other than that and the cosmetics I don't have much complaints.

FUN FACT: Cartoon Network almost debuted the 2003 version of the end of this arc on Christmas Day. I remember writing letters warning them that this was probably not a good idea, and I seriously doubt I was alone in that. They wound up preempting the show for two weeks.

It's sort of the same. Experience bar gives you skill points. If you die, you lose that experience but any skill points accumulated are safe. And if you die, all you need to do is damage what killed you to get your experience back. Hell, I've died to stuff, had it damaged by other animals/troopers and got my experience back lol

It's been amazing so far. Great star wars feel and the combat and exploration are top notch, although there is quite a bit of backtracking because you open up new paths when you get more powers/upgrades.

My only gripes are that exploration leads a lot towards customizations which are only pallette swaps for your hobo poncho, robot, ship and lightsaber, and lightsaber parts really not doing anything outside of looking cooler. But outside of your lightsaber color, the hilt is so small anyways that you don't really get to see what it looks like unless you're at the bench to change it lol

Okay exploration in this game is top notch. The revisit of Zeffo for the second tomb was sick. Only thing that kinda dampens it tho is a lot of times you explore and your reward is...a color pallette. Would feel a lot more rewarding if they had actual costumes

You are probably a bit further in than I am, I just got to the 3rd planet i've seen in the game. I struggled a bit with that gigantic 3 eyed frog in the beginning.

Is it the one where you drop in the hole and can one shot you? I skipped him for later lol. Just as a tip, you should do Zaffo and then Dathomir because your progress is blocked on Dathomir until you get something on Zaffo
