Heck, there are women in their late 40's who are hotter then she is right now.

Yes and no. I do believe that the typical college is a part of life, and society would go crazy if all the colleges suddenly decided to shut down the extra amenities that we've come to expect.
My college life was pretty spartan, it didn't have the "Extra Amenities", yet I managed to tough through the harsh work curriculum and live a simple, budget effective, cheap "College Life". If people want to have fun, they'll find ways. It doesn't have to be built into the cost of tuition.

Lets be real though. Philosophy is far from the most useless degree. Philosophy majors look like professionals next to women's studies majors. Not that someone with a philosophy degree really has any right to look down on someone else though.

Even stuff like English and Communication degrees aren't very good. Only really good in the sense that some jobs just see if you have a degree and don't care what it is.
That's why we gotta rank them by usefulness to society and give loans to the most useful ones and to fields we need more people in.

We have a HUGE Airline Pilots, Mechanics, and ATC shortage.

We should prioritize those first.

So two points:
1) You didn't answer my question - do you believe the world doesn't need ANY philosophers? On this, what do you consider "useful" fields? Do we need psychology? Sociology? International Relations? Politics?
2) One of my good friends did an undergraduate degree in Philosophy - he just finished a residency in Neurology and will be teaching in his former medical school. His experience of various philosophers/schools of thought has helped him score much higher in "bedside manner" metrics than classmates - do you believe he did a "useless" undergraduate major?
1) Not at a "Professional Level" compared to all the other fields we have.
Psychology, Sociology, International Relations, Politics are all on a more useful level than "Philosophy" IMO.

2) I would've prefered that he became a "Neurologist" and go into the field and practice it for 30 years, then go on to teach after he becomes old, experienced, seasoned, and about to retire.

Once he's a established "Neurologist", he can go back and get a "Philosophy" degree on the side later in continuing college education if he wanted that for "Funsies" off of his own dime.

"Winner-Take-All!" is the ABSOLUTE WORST system for any form of Constitutional Representative Democracy!

"Proportional Representation" along with decimal level "Proportional Voting Power" PER SEAT is what is necessary for a accurate Democracy along with the ability for the citizens to allocate their voting power amongst all candidates of their choosing in any combination they want.

Yes it is a little bit more complicated, but it is accurate, prevents gerrymandering, and every party gets their little voice heard along with their slice of voting power.

Every seat needs to have all representatives with each party and their allocated voting power go in with the power they earned from their constitutents.

Yes that's a bit more complicated, but it's "Accurate". No more BS of ___ isn't who I voted for.

NOPE! We need it so that all political representatives goes in.

Accuracy is more important.

Corporations/Organizations/Entities don't count as people IMO and shouldn't be allowed to lobby, much less spend money on Elections.

Only the consitutents from that area should be allowed to donate campaign money to the people they want to back. No More, No Less.

If citizen A of area A wants to donate $##,### to Poltician B of Party C, that's their choice.

Everything needs to be capped and regulated since there is only a finite amount of $/citizenry that can be donated and that means every Politician has a mathematically MAXIMUM amount of campaigning funds that can be calculated which realistically would be unlikely to meet since not everybody will donate to them.

There are two main cost drivers of higher education. One is the fault of universities and one isn't.

1) Do-it-all mentality
Universities try too hard to be everything for everyone. Most state universities have fully functioning hospitals, properties they manage, investment management departments, concert venues, and even rock climbing walls. By extending their reach this far, the added costs go towards tuition and fees. In many schools, fees are actually higher than tuition because of all these extra amenities. This could be fixed by having colleges specialize in specific areas again. Have medical colleges with the hospitals, have arts colleges with the large galleries and museums, etc.

2) Increasing regulations
This isn't the fault of universities. With every new year and every new legislation cycle, the government increases regulations, and thus reporting requirements, for universities. Things like the Clery Act require universities to create these reports that are thousands of pages to show every little thing that happens on their campuses, how they responded, what they are doing to be more efficient, etc. This is the government's way to have universities "justify" their existence. Yet the amount of work to collect, compile, analyze, summarize, and submit the data is what is causing all the added costs to hire new administrators and purchase the software systems required to do all of this.

I have worked at several universities where dozens of adminstrators' only task is keeping up with the increasing reporting requirements imposed by state and federal authorities.

The only way to fix this is a loosening of these regulations and allow colleges more flexibility and autonomy. Colleges are a lot more regulated than people believe.
So force each College to specialize and simplify the regulations down to one set instead of two and loosen some unnecessary regulation?

And everybody complains about how the taxes are used.

But the reality is that if things were highly regulated, then it would be far cheaper and School Administrators can't overcharge if we put in regulations to prevent them from doing so.

You see all those Administrative overhead and Bureaucrats, guess what somebody has to pay for all that.

All those fancy new campuses / buildings, those don't come cheap.

It makes sense that Bischoff is on Smackdown since dealing with Fox is a bigger deal then dealing with USA network.

No matter how you look at it, Fox Network is WAY more important than the USA Network in terms of size & reach.

So having Bischoff there makes sense since he used to be pretty good at dealing with TV execs.

Please for the love of god, have Vince focus on XFL and leave the rest of the Brands up to everybody else.

In fact, I would endorse Stephanie taking all the women and starting another brand to on "The CW" on Saturday Night Prime Time since that National programming block is literally empty.

Have Stephanie run her newly created Women's Wrestling brand on a network that is all about "Girl Power" and has Public TV / National Reach.

That would make the most sense.

Then there would be enough screen time for everybody.
