| Sunhawk 12/27/19 3:26:51 PM #1 | XBox 360, about 65 games. Excellent collection. Really pleased with it. Built it up between 2006 and 2012. It's got maybe a dozen very high quality games in it (names to follow), and plenty of pretty good games, too. Very few clangers. The graphics were excellent then, and are excellent now. Plenty of fun things to do. Best controller I've ever had. As to my favourite games: Alan Wake; Mirror's Edge; COD 2; MW2; MW3; Halo 3; Halo 3: ODST; Dead Rising 1; Tony Hawk's Project 8; Tony Hawk's Proving Grounds; Guitar Hero 3; Sonic 4; The Orange Box. Street Fighter 2 and Mortal Kombat were pop culture phenomenons the likes of which gaming might never see again. Yeah, I guess I had forgotten, since it was so longer ago. People loved that stuff. MK2, MK3, to a lesser extent, VF1, and the various KOFs. I don't think I've even played KOF, but someone must've been playing, because it got annaul updates. Late 80s - mid-90s - platformers Late 90s - early 2000s - RPGs Mid 2000s - early 2010s - FPSs Mid 2010s - late 2010s - sandbox games I'm sure people will have quite a few different opinions on this. Also, and this is what really annoys me, the paywalls to progress are too high. They should've made them pretty low, and then, that creates more post-completion content. Some are excellent, like City Escape and Green Forrest, and some are just boring, like certain Knuckles / Rouge levels. Plus, the game has 30 main levels, and you only play as Sonic for 6 of them. It's not really neccesary, and seems filled with slightly confusing, annoying puzzles. You know, it's uncanny how similar this game is to DKC: Tropical Freeze. Not just that it's a 2.5D platformer, but also the style of the graphics, and even how the characters feel when they move. Not that that's a bad thing...of course. Made a file on Bayonetta 2, as well. Not sure about this game. To listen to professional reviewers, to say nothing of CE regulars, you would think it was the new S3&K, or Super Mario 64. I admit, I've only played it briefly, but it seems average. Very actiony, but the action is SO over the top, it's hard not to laugh. The cutscenes seem long and cheesy. Lovely graphics, though.
