One criticism I will say about Golf Story is that the RPG elements were underwhelming with leveling up.

It might as well just have a button that you click that says "get better at golf? 5 points"

That was the most underwhelming part of the game.

Octopath Traveler was just one of those games that suffered from 'overhype', to the point it was so popular that it got backlash.

It was great, but it had a couple problems. Such as not having an over-arching story, and being a bit repetitive.

What do you think of Golf Story?

In the early days of the Switch, it was an absolute must-have gem due to the small library. I got a Switch in October of 2017 and this game was great. After I got done with Odyssey, I actually played Golf Story before Breath of the Wild. That's how bad it hooked me right off the bat. It's just an adorable and fun little game.

If you like golf, definitely get it. If you like cute games and don't mind golf, probably get it, too.

The golf gameplay is simple yet fun. It's not extremely detailed, but that's part of what makes it easy to just pick up and play. The story is cute.

Only real downside is that the difficulty never really ramps up, and by the time it gets to a point where it's 'kinda hard', the game ends. It could've used some post-game or a DLC add-on.

This game has some of the best HD rumble of any game, also.

I'm a big fan of the NBA and I'd really like if there were some sort of video game for it, but sadly there isn't.

Most nurses don't need to know a damned thing, and their pay-rate reflects that.

When I was super sick, I dealt with dozens of doctors and nurses, and most nurses didn't have even an elementary knowledge of medicine or sickness. I learned that while casually chatting with them in the hundreds of hours I was in the hospital. They are trained in a few basic medical tasks and that's it.

As far as sexism goes, like, half my doctors were female, so...yeah.

Most nurses are female, but there are plenty of 'grunt' professions for men, too. Like road-teams who work for the department of transportation. That's a good nurse equivalency for men.

Also, there's degrees of nurses, just so you know. The ones who are actually good and knowledgable DO make more money. And you can tell why once you've dealt with a couple dozen nurses. When the 'nurse captain' comes in, things get solved.

This helicopter battle is pretty insanely bad due to the controls. Like this isn't a well-made part of the game at all, even though I liked the rest of the game.

My personal theory is that women don't need to interact with as wide a pool of men anymore because they can just get their kicks on social media or tinder. They get all the attention they need there. It's an addiction.

If you're super sick, life-threatening or terminally ill, I mean, you have suffering, but on the flip side, you have tons of sympathy and support from everyone, the government takes cares of your bills usually, everyone gives you stuff and does stuff for you. You just sit around and relax(or well, suffer, but still)

If you're healthy, that's great. Just go out and do whatever you want and don't worry about anything.

But if you're medium health, it fucking sucks. You're sick and can't do everything you need to do, but you also don't get any help from anybody. So, I guess you try to work, pay your bills, and pay for your medium medicine costs that'll probably put you in poverty. Good luck actually finding a decent job while being sickly though, and nobody is going to give a fuck about you or give you any sympathy for just being slightly disabled.
