I fucking died when Rosa incredulously asks "your nemesis is a horse?"

Then I died again at the 20 second mark when she asks him about having the photo all the time and he's like no I just looked it up real fast you didn't see.

This show I swear, it's a gut buster.

I must have misunderstood what people meant when they said that that you get all the characters that ever were in Smash. I thought every character would appear just like that, from the very beginning.

Reignited version? Either way I think it's one of those series where it was highly revered when it came out and was Sony's answer to Mario 64 and Rare's 3D platformers. Not to say it's bad, but it's not as amazing as I remembered it.

IMO none of these collectathons are as good as you remember

I don't really subscribe to the whole "not as good as it was" and "dated" mindset, for me a game was either good from the very beginning or it wasn't. For example I played Banjo back in the day and disliked it immediately, wasn't my cup of tea. Meanwhile I liked Mario 64 and still like it to this day, having played the DS and virtual console version (yes, some worlds like the magic carpet one and adjustable water world with the spider things are meh, but again they were always meh)

So I guess it really depends.

The soundtrack is great. The characters are great. Any other game would have them come across as grating, but I like Bayonetta a whole lot. I don't usually like or play this genre since I just like to mash buttons but here it's like I'm doing a different move every time and don't know how to repeat it, from Bayonetta shooting a gun attached to her leg to swinging around an axepole and destroying everything nearby.

Still not sure how I activate some of the mechanics besides the witching hour, which I know is unlocking by dodging at the last second. Not sure about anything else, like how you summon that hair demon that's simultaneously Bayonetta's clothes or how I shove demons inside a torture chamber.

That soundtrack. I don't even know what the song is saying in the beginning, it sounds like a lot of mumbling but it's so good.

How many chapters this game will have? Also it doesn't seem like I'll have enough money to purchase stuff at the shop unless I keep doing the same level over and over to get coin.

Season 2 was the last time the events of the show and movie universe really affected each other, and even then it was meh. By season 5, it just got ridiculous. The entire premise of that season supposes that there are no super powered people on earth besides daisy, and no one could have stopped her from breaking the earth in half. Seriously?

Yeah the ps4 version. Just trying out Insomniac's first playstation trilogy was enough for me, I can see their roots and now appreciate the references they put in their later games like ratchet and clank (the sheep gun comes to mind). The actual playstation 1 games are downright unplayable with the dated game mechanics, reversed camera control, etc.

It's funny that Insomniac just went for shooters after that and didn't do more platformers, though I actually like ratchet and clank a lot for its silliness and tend to play it less like a shooter and more like a platformer with shooting elements. And I like the series more than Spyro. Even if Insomniac are forced to milk it to death (I just make sure not to play the games back to back lest I suffer from immediate fatigue)

I was aware of Spyro back then but never got a chance to play it or, only Crash.

Now that I've played the Spyro trilogy, I made it all the way to the 3rd game before just getting bored. They're ok games for kids but kinda tiresome after a while with not much to them.

The second game starts to delve into minigames which are barely tolerable and the 3rd game is just exasperating with its damn minigames. Even the Sly trilogy's annoying minigames were less of a hassle.

Also the flying levels are just plain awful.

Overall as far as 90s open world collectathon platformers go it's just okay.

I'm trying to keep best for last so my bar for entertainment isn't set so high.

What was so good about spiderman? I played the first 10 minutes where you're storming kingpin's base just to get an idea of what I was in for. Didn't get the hang of web zipping yet (but sure I will) and also I felt like a lot of it borrowed from arkham (which admittedly can only be a good thing since arkham is amazing) like its own detective vision where you could see the enemies in the next room in a red outline.

The ace attorney trilogy really is one of the greatest games of all time. I played them on the DS and absolutely fell in love with them. I love every single case, and unlike people on the internet there is no case I dislike, only characters, and even then I still sympathize with some of the villains.

Apollo Justice ace attorney is... okay. It was pretty disappointing when it came out and utterly ridiculous what they do with Phoenix but the game is still okay... if you consider it semi noncanon, which I do since I didn't bother with the 3ds games.

Now Ace Attorney Investigations with Miles Edgeworth, those games are underrated. After AJ was meh, playing AAI was super fun. I loved seeing Edgeworth's perspective again and enjoyed the twists and turns the story takes.

I even played a fan translated AAI 2 and thought that was magnificent. Whoever these people that made the fan translation, they are amazing. They truly understood and love ace attorney which shows, and I honestly could not tell this was a fan translation, so much so that I refer to the names of the characters in that game by the fan translation's names.

All in all, I'd definitely recommend the Ace Attorney Investigations games after playing the original trilogy.

I mean... it's not bad. It's okay, no more no less. The weird twist they had with one of the characters from the 3rd Sly came out of left field but otherwise I thought it was pretty alright. The time travel and playing as Sly ancestors in different time periods was actually pretty cool.

Honestly I always thought it was a shame that the Sly series doesn't seem as successful, popular or well known as Sony's other properties because I thought it was the best one out of all the others, with its fun platforming goodness, cel shaded look and saturday morning cartoon feel

Amazon has the game. I don't do the whole importing scene of course and since I prefer physical copies anyway, I thought why not since I was already buying other Switch games on amazon. While the box is in japanese, putting in the game makes it english automatically, I didn't even need to select the language option. Apparently the game plays based on what language your Switch currently is in. I don't particularly like that it does that since I'd prefer choosing but in this case they automatically chose correctly.

I loved this game a decade ago but I'm not sure I have it in me to go through it again, even though I'm curious to see the proper ending of the original 2006 game.

I mean if you want an actual world building game, you're better of getting a game that's specifically in that genre. Like I dunno, minecraft or something. Dark Cloud 2 trying out all these different genres like the dungeon crawling and rpg and the georama is actually one of the detractors of the game, because none of them are as good and had level 5 just stuck to one thing, it would be.

But that's just me. I absolutely loathed the georama and was glad that level 5's next game rogue galaxy was just an action rpg with no stupid mechanics like georama and weapon breaking.
