This happens all the time. It's a common business strategy. Someone gets control of a department, abuse the shit out of the employees, get a huge bonus from cut costs, and bail out leaving a wreck.

So for GameFAQs to become racist, we would need a surge of new users who are utilizing GameFAQs to advance their racist agenda. This would be rather unlikely as it would be easier and more sensible to just make their own site or use an already existing racist forum.

My supervisor created an extra position to handle a bunch of outside sites that only had the exterior checked, 1-3 times a night. That one lost most of the sites. They dissolved that position and tacked the remainder on to my shift that already had little down time between patrols. Just to accommodate two patrols for the new sites, I had to cut my middle of shift one entirely. And even then that's not enough should anything happen.

Supervisors are pissed at me for not being able to do the work they had me doing plus the work they had someone else doing (for more money) at the same rate I was paid before.

Remember, your bosses only consider you valuable insofar as they can extract value from them. So if you end up accidentally letting it crash and burn, well. Your sanity matters more.

That sounds like the sort of thing where it wouldn't actually be possible to perform all of the work due to the total time required exceeding the time of your shift.

Removing man from words is a bit silly because it doesn't address the actual issue. The real issue is that we used to have a prefix for man to indicate gender and man itself just meant person. Over time, we lost the prefix used to indicate a man was male and just used man itself for that. So an actual solution would be to bring back that sort of thing and restore man to its proper gender neutral state.
