I'm so glad mine never gave any issues. Luckily for me I had room for them, I naturally only have 28 teeth though. It sounds awful to have issues with them.

This sounds like a pretty detrimental thing to say to people that have made it to their 30s without finding anything

The worth and value part is good. That's what I struggle with the most and it's nice to feel that someone thinks so. The other part feels a bit off though.

A couple of times.

Once when I was just completely fed up with everything. Dad was cussing me and calling me worthless, saying how much he hated me and wanted me to die. Mom was yelling at me because I talked back to him. So I went home(lived next door with my brother). Then he got started, telling me how amazing he felt he was, and that I can't compare to him. He just loved mocking me over this stuff, but I wasn't in the mood to take it. I told him to stop, and that he was pushing me off. Instead, he responded with "I'll stop if you're man enough to make me." Then started insulting me again. I warned him one more time to stop, when he didn't, I punched him. He fell over in surprise, then jumped back up in my face trying to intimidate me. Then ran off to my parents place and told them. So it ended up being like a week long event of them all 3 wishing I were dead and treating me like garbage.

The other time was when my dad tried to kill me. Ended up in a brawl with him. Due to some interference from my mom, I ended up on the losing end and he was strangling me.

Was watching some self help videos on improving self esteem and valuing yourself. I bought a book a while back about cognitive behavior adjustments to make. Was excercising and trying to do something productive each day.

Most of that has died off though. Hit another rough patch and have basically just been laying in bed instead.

I agree. I never really had anyone irl to talk to, or care about me. The people here did, I felt like I belonged and was getting support I'd never gotten before. Not any more though, I've ruined that by being an awful person, and no one tolerates me any more. Now this place is just bad for me I think, but I've become too attached to stop coming here.

I'd say that's just as important as education to be honest. It's good he made a lot of friends.

And yes, I'm very glad he finally managed to get some good friends. I've been trying to encourage him and build up his confidence and such. I don't want him turning out like I did.

Well, that's done. Was a bit of a pain, but not too bad. Went to my aunt's house(cousin's grandmother) and was going to walk to the school since it's just across the street. My aunt thought we came to pick her up and got in the car so we could drive over. So we ended up having to park in the over crowded parking lot. Seemed like the entire town was there and had no empty seats any where.

Then his dad showed up, was drunk, and wouldn't stop talking very loudly. Because of that we couldn't hear hardly anything. Plus once he tried to walk into the midst of the ceremony for pictures and was pulled back by a cop. Then he just got louder because he was angry. I thought he was going to get us kicked out. We recorded the actual part where he got his diploma and then my mom drove my aunt and his dad back home. That left me to pick him up after the ceremony and walk him back.

Afterwards he posed for some pictures which I'll upload later. Then we went to the Chinese place and now I'm overly stuffed and finally home. Gonna go see Aladdin tomorrow if he feels up to it.

I was going to say never, but then I remembered I was invited to a game night at church sometime early last year iirc. I went but it was awful.

So, once in my entire life. I'm sure it was a mistake or I was just invited out of politeness and wasn't expected to show. Was super awkward.

I remember that I went to an Outback when I graduated. But the weirdest thing happened. All my friends that I hung out with everyday were all there. Like all of us. So, our families ended up moving stuff around. And we all sat together whole all the parents sat together and talked. It was pretty funny. And we all had fun.

Sounds fun. I've only been there once and the food wasn't really that good.

He only enjoyed this year, and that's only because he had super easy classes. Like a computer class where they apparently just watch YouTube most of the class of bring video games to play. Then a study hall class where they just play games or watch videos more. He did take a vocational class at another school, building trades. That seemed to be ok but he also got confused a lot too. But he made lots of friends and had fun this year, so that's good. I got a bunch of his friends added on my ps4 so he can talk with them.

It probably gets set up in Far from Home. With the multiverse being introduced and apparently characters from other worlds crossing into the main MCU timeline. They might literally crossover just by chance. Of course could be something entirely different too, I'm not sure I trust Mysterio's word on what's happening in Far from Home.

I think he's leaning towards the Chinese place with a buffet. I don't think they have any kind of soup. That's the only place he's mentioned anyway.

Also, I'm not sure he can actually do any kind of job. He was hired on to work one day a week at the thrift store my mom works at. His job was just to take books out of their boxes and put them on the shelves. My mom said he spent all day looking at the picture books and playing on his phone. They let him go after the one day and he complained that he didn't like it. If just setting books on a shelf is too much to handle I don't know what other jobs he could do.

I sort of messed up when I graduated. When we practiced, we just went and got our diploma when our name was called, shook the principal's hand and followed a line out the side door. They told us there'd be another person waiting to shake our hand, but in the moment I totally forgot and walked past him. I noticed him reach his hand out as I went past and realized. I stepped back and shook it real quick but it was really embarrassing lol.

Deny, women are confusing as heck.

One I worked with kept saying she enjoyed it when I came to work. That I made her feel safe by walking her to her car each night. She'd stay after her shift was over just to talk with me and such. Guess what, not interested.

Another was shy, and had anxiety issues as well. She is really pretty so she got lots of attention she was uncomfortable with. I was interested in her, but didn't want to add to that problem so I kept things to myself. One night she approached me, stayed after her shift and we talked video games and such. Laughed, joked, she genuinely seemed to want to spend time with me. For the first time in a very long time I was hopeful that things were going right for a change. As she left she leaned back in the door and called out to me, giggled and said a long drawn out "byyyyyyeeeeeee". Guess what... not interested.

Edit: Matched with someone from okcupid once. She became kind of stalkerish. Found out where I worked and showed up unannounced several times. Claimed to have dreamed about me after we met. Take a guess... she told me she could never be with someone like me.

Maybe it's just me being too stupid to know the difference between people being friendly and being interested, but I've ruined things many times by making that mistake.

Nah, when she asked what kind, he described the kind she's making. He's also the one who asked for cornbread too. Between the two of us we must've asked him at least 6 times if he absolutely certain that's what he wanted. The next day(yesterday) she brings the groceries home and he tells her that he changed his mind.

There is no mall here. The closest one, which wasn't even really a mall, burned down. The next closest one which is in the next state over is mostly empty, and the only reason to go(the pet shop) became some kind of daycare. Now it's literally just a gamestop, a FYE, and a Spencer's.

The mentally handicapped one that lives with me. I'm proud of him, but at the same time I've got to say goodbye to any piece and quiet(and my ps4) while he's home. Also I'm not looking forward to the ceremony and being surrounded by a bunch of strangers for an hour.

My mom told him she'd take him out to dinner any where he chooses to celebrate. He chose to have a can of soup at home. >_>
So she went out and bought the stuff to make a big pot of his favorite soup, cornbread, and salad. Then he changed his mind when his friends said he should go out, now he doesn't want soup... Oy, this kid is so wishy washy.

That's bizzare, a similar thing happened when I saw it. As soon as the previews started the screen and sound cut out. It was just blank. Took like 15 minutes to come back on and then it started the previews from the start which delayed the showing by a bit. Wasn't too bad since it didn't cut out any if the movie, just a bit annoying.

I honestly don't know. My mom finally got fed up with his crap and left. They are "separated" but she goes to his place about twice a day and she's planning on moving back in with him. Though she still apparently doesn't want anything to do with him and just wants to go back because that's her home. So yeah, I guess so, but maybe not?

That's my problem. This is literally my only social outlet. Even if it's toxic to me. I cling to it. I guess I'm supposed to just sit in my apartment alone and never talk to anyone

It's my only one too, but I'm on kind of on edge emotionally a lot of the time anyway. It doesn't take much to push me on over even if no one was trying to. A lot of the time just seeing certain topics will do it, I know I shouldn't compare my life to other's but it's hard not to do that when there's so many topics popping up about this stuff every day. Then there's the times people do try, because I'm not particularly popular or welcome here.

But I need to talk to people somehow, I just can't go back to only having my parents to interact with.
