They technically ARE a character and have personality / backstory but they can be one of like 30 different species that you choose from. Though, at least Digimon ARE characters since we have the specific ones from the anime but considering I almost never saved Pokemon in the last contest, one of which was my 2nd favorite pokemon of all time... yeah. Most of the ones Genny listed wouldn't do well. Jake didn't even make it into canines even though I nominated him. Pan is from a series like 0.001% people care about. Morgana is hated by a lot of people and Chopper is from One Piece which is also pretty disliked around here, not to mention Chopper has been poorly used in the anime/manga for the last what... 4 years now? (Ever since timeskip) I think the best suggestion so far has been Doopliss. He's a mario character too and mario usually does pretty well. --- |
