RickyTheBAWSE 11/02/19 10:07:16 PM #74	while not every single cop is "bad," police culture itself is horribly toxic. they either conform to the Brotherhood or end up like the NYPD 12. you may have friends whom are cops, but that doesn't mean the police as an entity are your friends. cops are the State's revenue collectors. they're here to generate revenue for the State through fines and slavery via 13th Amendment. the fines are typically ridiculous and the sentencing is typically excessive. aiding the State in their exploitation of the citizen is literally aiding the tyranny we're supposed to be keeping in check. but propaganda in favor of bootlicking rhetoric has citizens hailing these revenue collectors as heroes by job title alone. not based on the genuine good they do as an individual, but the job title itself, lol. the State extorts us by making us pay for registration on vehicles we already own, regardless of driving record. in some States, like California, registration is over $100 now. we pay property taxes, taxes for our food and everything else. I'm not anti-tax, but I do believe there is such thing as overreach. rather than use the police to JUST keep us safe, they've got them chasing down people with expired tags and struggling to pay child support. there are literally police auctions to sell people's shit while they're vulnerable and down on their luck. that's not even counting the things that aren't State sanctioned. that thin blue line to protect the worst of the worst ruined the trust with many communities. Officer Joe Blow might just want to do his 8 hours and go home and play Skyrim. but he's complicit with his partner escalating situations and being a terror to certain people. the "good cop" is just as bad for not checking that. citizens shouldn't feel anxiety when a cop pulls up behind them and they've done nothing wrong. but the State wants it's money, so those tags better be up to date. --- Never let those intent on misunderstanding you be the narrator to YOUR story!
