And its not like the more realistic, so called, horror movies are any more real in the first place. Psycho and a lot of slashers don't accurately represent people suffering from trauma or various mental illnesses. Jaws and The Birds rely on animals behaving unnaturally. Pretty sure Satanic cults like in The Seventh Victim and All the Colors of the Dark probably aren't real either. Short Night of Glass Dolls is a bit more likely, but still a stretch.

This. Serial killers irl exist because they target vulnerable people with no one around and even then is increasingly getting stamped out by better technology. Theyre far less of a threat than car accidents or random heart attacks. No realistic horror movie would be able to pull off their stuff in real life either.

It's possible. They've probably been there for awhile, operating behind the scenes and now are possibly trying to take over due to the disarray in the aftermath or the two recent hurricanes. Not to say that there haven't been gangs before, but things are seemingly getting worse.

I use to live in Puerto Rico for about 6 years.
Long story short, it sure as hell wasn't this bad.
Most of the island was peaceful, even though there was gang activity in some parts of Ponce (the southern part of the island), but just small time criminal bullshit, and in a very small section up north called "La Perla" (which means "The Pearl"... which is such a huge shit hole filled with gangs and drugs and other dangerous shit that many years ago the local government literally built a wall to have a physical barrier between La Perla and the rest of San Juan which is the capital up north on the island).

These gangs did NOT have this level of weaponry before (they had guns, but NOT military weaponry) and they normally kept to their areas doing small time criminal stuff, not running around the entire island attempting to create a real life version of GTA with military weapons (like they are now).
I'm not sure how these gangs went from small-time hoodlum status to literally running around with military weapons in a militaristic fashion is such a short amount of time.

Yeah, this is exactly what I was thinking. It was nowhere near as bad where you can just record gunfire on the streets when I last went there.

I was also living in Puerto Rico for a lengthy amount of time a few years ago. It definitely was never even close to this bad with gangs running around with military weapons out in the open like this. A few days ago there was a mass shooting in Puerto Rico where 8 people died (I'll post the news report that contains footage below) involving gangs. It happened in Rio Piedras, San Juan... which is about 30 minutes from La Perla (which is pretty much the hell hole area for the entire island on the northern tip of Puerto Rico that most people on the island don't want any part of due to the high amount of criminal activity in that small northern area that causes most of the problems for the entire island). I know some people in the comments section of this video below are saying this level of violence is nothing new in Puerto Rico. That is a HUGE lie since it was never even close to this bad with gangs running around with military weapons causing this much violence in such a short time span. The big questions are: HOW did they get these military weapons and WHO gave them these military weapons?

Couldnt have said it better myself. And I think we might have an inkling whos been giving those weapons...

The funny part is how at the start of each gen they remove move tutors so that a large portion of Pokemon with access to it can't anymore but then at the next games of the gen move tutors make it so that all the previous Pokemon plus any new ones of the gen can get access to it again. It's literally happened every gen after 4 since it was removed as a TM in 5. Not that I'm against it, just find it amusing.

But you can just transfer pokemon from the last gen with it.

Gen 6 and 7 and probably 8 had a buffer of a few months before transferring was ready. Also transfer Pokemon can't get any new abilities/egg moves that could've been given.

What happens

Kids are disappearing in this small town and it seems like it's the work of a mysterious entity called the Tall Man, turns out it's the lead who is kidnapping the towns children to give them to rich people "Tall Man" is the name of the organization that is doing it.

There's a point where it makes it seem like the lead is giving the children to the Tall Man and she claims she murdered the children but she does so to protect the organization. The movie seems to suggest that taking children from poor families' to give to rich families is a morally right thing to do and the lead is a martyr for going to prison to hide the truth.

Thats pretty weird if theyre not making her the villain protagonist. I dont think the writers should expect someone with sympathize with that.
