It's still a good movie, but probably my least favorite of the 4.

I liked it better than 3, simply because 3 seemed to just copy 2 while invalidating the whole "No fate but what we make" theme. 4 tried something different story wise, and I liked Bale's Connor better than The Man without a Face guy.

As bad as 3 was, I actually liked that ending

Does something stupid or crazy, people go "Man women are crazy"

But when a guy does something crazy, people go "Man that guy is crazy"

Even though people doing stupid or insane things doesn't seem limited to genitals.

It's like women are expected to be representative of their entire sex while men are assumed to be only representative of themselves.

At least in America anyway. Disregard this if you live in the Middle East or Japan or Poland

A homeless man was stunned by a policemans kindness after the officer took off his shoes and gave them to the man as a gift.

Earlier this week, Officer Brian Zagorski of the Niles Police Department in Illinois saw the homeless man trip on the worn-out rubber soles of his shoes as he was walking down the street.

Upon approaching the man, Zagorski struck up a conversation and inquired about his circumstances.

The officer asked if the man wanted a bag of toiletries and supplies courtesy of a community assistance program offered by the police department, but the man declined.

The officer then asked what the mans shoe size and as fate would have it, his feet were the same size as Zagorskis. Without hesitating, Zagorski took off his shoes and gave them to the homeless man.

After Zagorski made sure that his new acquaintance did not require any additional form of assistance, the man happily strolled away with a new pair of sturdy shoes on his feet.

I was happy, Zagosrki told WGN-TV. I made a difference, and thats essentially what we sign up to do, is to make a difference.

Zagorski says that he has not seen the man since the exchange took place earlier this week, but the compassionate cop plans on keeping an eye out for him in the future in case he needs help with anything else.

Well, the flow of the conversation was:

-The tree gave us free will.
How did we eat from the tree without free will?
-We did have free will, just a kind closer to other animals.
What kind is that?
-The kind without knowledge of good and evil, shame, and self-awareness.

Which lead to my most recent question: What about animals that seem to possess those very things?

No animal does.

But how did we do it before we had free will?

We had free will, but in the sense that say a bear does.

And what sense might that be?

The lack of knowledge of good and evil, shame and self-awareness

So when a member of a social animal species acts out of line, and when other members punish them for it, what are they doing?

And that's before you get into the fact that wasn't the same thing. But I wonder if you know that and your real goal is to shift the debate.

Plenty of Democrats have stolen cars or raped or murdered people. Doesn't make it okay for the US president to do so.

Not sure what to get dad for Fathers Day this year? According to a new survey, youre better off reaching for the phone, than buying a Worlds Best Dad mug.

And the top gift you can give your dad this year? A simple phone call.

And, surprisingly 57 percent of dads actually said its their favorite day of the year.

Most dads, it turns out, are easy to please. While a phone call from their kids topped the list of most desired gift, 38 percent of dads said they could really just go with some peace and quietand one in three just want to be able to watch whatever they want on the TV.

Pass him the remote control, for a change.

Four in ten Americans (41 percent) said they would appreciate a big juicy steak for Fathers Day this year. Taking in a ball game with the family also scored high, with 38 percent saying that sounded like the perfect treat.

64 percent of dads agreed that they specifically dont want anything that says Worlds Best Dad on it.

Sitting down for a meal with dad this Fathers Day is apparently a very good idea, according to the research, as 79 percent of dads say they like to bond with their children over food. But if its a cook-out, plan on staying away from the grill, because one in three dads say that if someone is grilling, its gonna be them.

Another six in ten confident dads feel like theres no better cook in the house than themselves, too, according to the survey, conducted by OnePoll on behalf of Omaha Steaks.
Fathers Day is a celebration of dadsand all their classic-dad moments. Maybe one of the most loving things you can do is laugh at their dad jokes and cheer for them when they bust out a cheesy dance move in the living room.

So God can't prevent millions of horrible things from happening, but he can move birds at the request of a random girl?

God helps those who help themselves claims Christians

If God just undid all evil in the world then free will and choices would have no meaning. We have to have the ability to do millions of horrible things in order to choose not to.

Something I've always been curious about is why that's the best option. Why is it preferable to be able to choose "bad" in order to choose "good," rather than simply doing "good" by default? If God could make it so that we always make the perfect "choice," what use would we have for free will?

He did

It was called the Garden of Eden. Everything was innocent.

Adam and Eve ate the from the tree that gave them knowlege of shame, evil and consequence. Aka free will.

I believe that the Bible has been unfairly represented by certain...odd people in recent years (and throughout history, but were talking current events) to paint it as a book(s) filled with a message of hate and discrimination, and I think it has colored your guys interpretation of certain passages in it.

Yet you can't explain why or counter the "Certain passages"

And the "interpretation" you claim we should adopt is literally the exact opposite of what the scripture says:

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him;male and female he created them.

Then the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him. 19 Now out of the ground the LORD God had formed every beast of the field and every bird of the heavens and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. And whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name. 20 The man gave names to all livestock and to the birds of the heavens and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper fit for him. 21 So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh. 22 And the rib that the LORD God had taken

Then Jesus told his disciples, If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Now this I say and testify in the Lord, that you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their minds. 18 They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, due to their hardness of heart.

You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.

A woman shall not wear a man's garment, nor shall a man put on a woman's cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD your God.

Does not nature itself teach you that if a man wears long hair it is a disgrace for him, 15 but if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For her hair is given to her for a covering.

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, 20 for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

You have ignored this for the entire topic and gone "It doesn't say "Transgenders!"" and now "You're interpeting it wrong! But I can't explain how or why! Just trust me! You need to accept the literal exact opposite of everything it says!"

It's intellectual dishonesty

"Someone else said something stupid too! Therefore it's okay."

Religious logic alright.

The bible does not say "It's wrong to be transgender"

The bible also does not say "It's wrong to kill every Christian and use their corpses to build a giant death statue to the dark lord Loghain"

The bible also does not say "Homosexual"

The bible also does not say "Delicious Waffles Half Price This Weekend Only!"

Going "Since this specific term/sentence isn't stated, therefore it makes no comment on it." is Admiral-tier intellectual dishonesty.

And your inability to actually argue or defend your stance proves it. All you can do is ignore what the bible actually says while going "It doesn't use this specific term or word."

Police in Toyama Prefecture have arrested as 52-year-old unemployed man on suspicion of killing a pet cat and believe he is responsible for killing at least 100 cats over the past 12 months.

According to police, Kenji Niimura was arrested Thursday on suspicion of picking up a cat from a street in Imizu City at around 1:30 p.m. on May 19. Police quoted Niikura as saying he lured the cat into his car with scraps of food, took it to his home in Toyama City where he killed it. He then disposed of the cats carcass in an irrigation ditch

Niimura, who has been charged with violating the Animal Welfare Act, has also admitted to stealing and killing at least 100 pet cats belonging to other people over the past 12 months, by scalding, beating or poisoning them, police said.
