| I4NRulez 05/21/19 10:50:52 PM #1 | Literally 2 days before my last day. Full story is that they laid off my whole department 2 months ago with the last day being in June. So i applied to try and stay on full time but didnt get accepted since it was like 3 spots open and i was pretty new. So with there being about a month left i decided to start applying for jobs elsewhere. Now i have a lot of interviews lined up. I'm young and i have a ton of experience in the fields i applied for. So all the while im telling my boss hey im gonna be missing these days for interviews at other places. So after a few weeks i get a few actual offers at places and i need to do background checks and drug tests before im actually hired. So again i email my boss telling her "hey this is what im doing since they laid us off". My boss however isnt replying to my emails, my internal company IMs, or my internal company emails. So i accept one of the offers and i put in my letter of resignation even though its less than a month from my end date at this point. I explained that i took an offer and i'll try to help out as much as possible while im here. So i have two days left in my two weeks and i get a call from our recruiter telling me that they are letting me go for the days i missed for the interviews. And I know people like to say "Well what about adoptions, they dont have to have an abortion" Do you know how low adoption rates are for people of color? Very low. When I was young my mothers friend worked for an adoption agency and they numbers they showed us for the number of black children (especially young black girls) were very low. Regardless of what the media shows you about white couples saving black kids. The numbers are low. Also if they are going to ban abortions are they going to help kids find loving homes that can financially support them? Will they change sex ed to cover that abstinence only sex ed doesnt work and proper ways to have safe sex? You can speak about what ifs but let's speak about facts. I think since they are all new they should start at one. Also, it's your world. My friend takes from the main stories and writes his world around that. So he has a base and it's easy for newer players to follow along. He did change some of the races, gods, and languages around. Use a level one start to introduce the new players to the game. Have em fight Goblins and Bug bears and stuff.
