I played some as a kid and they were neat (15-20 years ago). i'm interested in trying to get into it again. I have microsoft filght sim x steam edition but it's kind of janky and i have no idea what i'm doing at all. i flew from the main airport in my city and followed the roads to my house and then a smaller airport nearby and it was pretty fucking cool but I just barely managed it and i'd like to understand more. I also downloaded the demo for x-plane 11 but haven't checked it out yet

anyway, what about you guys? any fans? preferences of games / planes? tips or tricks? anything goes
