Yon-Rogg has a natural charisma that makes his nationalistic motivations seem superficially logical at the start of the film. He also plays as a much more real, dynamic character than Captain Marvel. A fault of that is Marvel's concealed origins. The end result, however, is that she comes across as a sort of motiveless floating "badass" who has no real hook into the plot until the end. For me, Yon-Rogg is this character I desperately want to follow so I can see how he strings his motive and plans together. He's a bad dude, without question, but a good villain is grounded in a consistent logic, and I would love to see more of it. An animosity of the Other is always a strong motivator for the Kree's sort of Andrew Jackson-style persecution of the Skrulls. And since he clearly is still out there, Yon-Rogg could return in a Kree/Skrull War with maybe one or two examples of Skrull wrongdoing that at least make the fight a little less black-and-white. And that would probably resonate really well with real world politics.

Ok I kinda get that. I think he'd be a lot better for me if Captain Marvel was more focused on the actual Kree Skrull war, than trying too hard to tie the entire movie into the MCU

I still sorta question Yon-Rogg being that high. Like I think Jude Law did a great job with what he was given, but I feel like it didn't really fit with the movie. Maybe if he was in a more well constructed movie where his character has a bigger purpose he could've been really cool, but as is I'm just kinda wondering why he's in the movie.

Yeah Asylum vs. City is really tough. I always flop between the two

Asylum is really balanced in all the aspects but is still an amazing experience.

City on the other hand is a lot more skewed. The open world and riddler trophies took a bit of a step backwards, but the story, level/boss design and combat improvements all go above and beyond. Granted it does take a while to get to those which can understandably be off putting to a lot of people.

The first No More Heroes is pretty weak tbh, that said it's worth getting through to play the second

Arkham City has one of my favorite plots in a video game. So that's what I voted for

But you get not only do you get to come up with the genre. However in typical Nintendo fashion, you also have to figure out what makes it unique compared to other games in that same genre.

Not really any rules to this, just think it's a fun idea, although bonus points for really making it sound like something Nintendo would create.

I think the show is outstanding and it's probably one of my favorite shows of all time. I love that a show so different from the norm can still find mainstream success.

That said I don't believe the bad 'fanbase' are actually fans of Rick & Morty the show. I think they're just in it for the memes, hence the jackass in that video that spazzes out about a bunch of non connected shit from the show. Like if I tried to have a discussion on the show with that dude he probably wouldn't even know what I'm talking about, but I totally get how people like him give the series a bad rep

Well first off it's funny that you say that because a quick google tells me that while 50% are indeed miscarriages 80% of those miscarriages are within the first 3 months of pregnancy most of the time before the woman even realizes she's pregnant. To be fair though the heartbeat bill is saying the abortion is illegal after 1 month? Which is pretty damn strict and is our government saying abortion's still legal even though it might as well not be. So I do think abortion within the first 3 months would probably be fair as that's when most miscarriages happen.

Secondly I'm arguing against the ethics of abortion itself. I'm very much of the mindset that willingly killing a child as it's forming is incredibly unfair and don't think it's right to do that and frankly I think that's where most people come from. Hence why I have a huge issue telling people pro lifers they're wrong, due to science we as human beings aren't even 100% on. If a pregnant woman said she wasn't having an abortion because she doesn't believe in doing it, no one would care. It's the same basic principle. I don't see what's wrong with someone thinking it's morally unsound. Corrik himself even stated that if the law makes it legal than great have as many abortions as you like, that doesn't change the fact that he still thinks it's wrong.

See I hate how so many people believe that if you're pro life then you're wrong plain and simple. How in fact do you know that? That's the funny thing about our morals, we only view them as far as the world we know.

Just because there's no brain activity for the fetus to think, does not mean they don't have a pontential soul. That said if those scenarios are too unknown and you'd rather focus on what is known, like brain activity, what women go through during pregnancy, quality of life for the child, etc. Then you're fully entitled to believe in what you want to believe in, but don't act like you actually know everything about what life is and what it means.
