He is forwarding my information directly to the department lead I'd be working for. Usually some clueless headhunter contacts me at this point so I am surprised an actual employee called me up. I interviewed for a massive company and they were completely fucking clueless about what they wanted. tl;dr they thought my experience in CAD software A wouldn't carry over to CAD software B even though I've worked with both for years and they are designed to be as similar as possible (I hadn't used B professionally for 3 years though so they thought I was lying when I said I was proficient in it). Suffice it to say the posting is still up months later, I hope the opportunity cost of holding out for the pErFeCt CaNdIdAtE has screwed them over by now |
