Putting all your points into the weapon you like and the character's personal ability is a safe bet. It's not the most optimized way to do it, but if you're playing for the first time and don't want to follow a specific guide it'll work well enough without you worrying about wasting points. And you'll still have some extra points to put in other places/squander.

Thoughts:

- Graphics are really underwhelming. Reminds me of Pokemon Colosseum with the quality of the environments. At least the character graphics look good, mainly because of the art style.
- The open world style stuff looked really great, but I immediately thought "Oh this is only going to be in that one big area, huh?" and was proven right later on. It seems like it'll just be a novelty that you'll only get a small amount of value of in the entire game, like Underground from 4th Gen.
- The Dynamax Pokemon mechanic looks really cool. I don't think it'll be any less gimmicky than Z-Moves, but it's a nice concept. I wish it had a different name, because "Dynamax" sounds so dumb.
- The new Pokemon all have good designs, but seem so unoriginal. I mean, I can't blame them for not having any new ideas since there's so many Pokemon now, but it's hard to get excited about another generic bird and flower.
- I love Sonia already.
- Milo's child-like head on that bulky body creeps me out.
- I don't like how the cover legendaries look too similar to each other. That's so boring. They also look lame in general. I bet Ermine loves them though.

Why the hell is Jaden Yuki's decks so damn bad? Holy hell, Neo Spacians suck. I'm going through the GX campaign and making a point of using the provided story deck for each duel but it's breaking me. Every single one of Jaden's is just so terrible and so hard to play. It's not just me, when I do the Reverse Duels the CPU struggles to get anywhere with his decks as well. I never watched GX but I hate his character just because of his deck.

The video footage of the mode showed a sparkly checkpoint-like system that dead players respawn from. If there's bubbles, they're probably in the co-op multiplayer mode.

And this is coming from someone who didn't like the first one all that much. I can't believe it got so many bad reviews because I legitimately enjoyed a lot. I think it's just a difference in tone. This one was so much more of cheesy "good monsters fighting against evil monsters" plot like the original movies. That's not to say it was goofy, but it definitely wasn't a serious premise like the first and just focused on making the monsters have more character and personality.

It still suffers from the problem of have too many scenes with the human characters, I especially hated how they would cut away from monsters fights to show humans in peril so much, but I still think they handled it a lot better than the first movie. The characters are all allied with MONARCH so they have a good reason to be around the monsters all the time (as opposed to some boring army guy always happened to be in right place everywhere), and I thought they were actually compelling characters in their own right. I like how they aren't just randomly in the middle of things, they have important goals involving the monsters, and are a factor in the fights themselves. The monsters make the most difference, but the humans have their impact so their inclusion isn't so out of place.

And I loved all the references to the classic movies. The first one felt like it was it was doing more it's own thing with influences from the originals, but this one goes all out with terminology (using classic names), playing the old theme music, and easter eggs everywhere (realizing that the woman assigned to Mothra's outpost was a twin was fantastic).

The only other major complaint was (MAJOR SPOILER): Having a nuclear bomb act like a "power up" for Godzilla bordered on poor taste considering why the series was created. To their credit, they do address this in the movie, and Serizawa's scene was really well done, but I'm not sure how well that will go over.

I'm honestly surprised by how much I liked this movie, and I'm not even a crazy huge Godzilla fan. I think the more you enjoyed the classic movies the more you'll get out of this, which is probably why movie critics don't like it that much. It really is more of a sci-fi and "superhero" Godzilla film rather than the more realistic portrayal the first movie had and I prefer it that way.

3 was a rush job (no pun intended) and it shows. I don't know why people rate it so highly. It has some of the worse designed weapons and levels out of the NES games

My issue with yugioh has always been the no limit on special summoning rule. A lot of the combos revolve around just filling your board with monsters that you'd normally have to tribute summon for, but utilizing special summons just completely bypasses it. It's no fun to play against a fur hire deck in duel links because turn 1 you end up with a full enemy monster zone with a huge beatstick and ways to negate your removal cards, in addition to being able to destroy either 1 of your monsters or spell/traps via effects, all done through special summoning. That's a big gripe with how xyzs and synchros worked to me as well, since those are all done via special summoning, you're only limited by the cards you've got to work with.

I had a game today where I summoned five monsters in a single phase, and I already had two on the field when I started.

That was pretty balling.

It's obvious they only pay attention to Elite Smash when choosing what to rebalance. That's why the last patch had so many nerfs to projectiles and rolling.

To be fair Mario Maker was a game that they patched often and addressed fan complaints. I actually wouldn't be surprised if they added it in a future update.
