Yeah somewhere else this would've been an instant write up if reported and it wasn't just disabilities. If anyone asked something as simple as "Are you from the US" if the person spoke another language counted as discriminatory and if reported would be written up. They could just be innocently asking as an ice breaker and it would still fuck them up

There is no argument. You're talking about his limitations when he already said it had nothing to do with the disability. As was already stated asking him that flat out counts as discrimination. Doesn't matter his reason for doing so. Same with cutting the hours

Really the only thing up in the air is whether he could take him to court and honestly you'd need good documentation to do so

You're one perspective man. You always take your own views as fact and you end up living in a fantasy world of your own creation. You seem like you personally can't accept your limitations from being disabled and it makes it harder for people around you.

It really doesn't matter what he meant. Whether it was meant positively or negatively and whether he cut his hours because he thought he was doing it for him or he did it because he would rather someone else without a disability work in his place. In either situation it counts as discrimination

It depends on the circumstances. If TC shared he had a disability, and then they cut his hours and asked these questions, it could be discrimination in some states (it is in California though Im not knowledgeable of how it works elsewhere)

If they cut his hours, then TC brought up his disability and then they asked those questions, then its something different because it sounds like they want to work it out.

In any case TC, make sure you capture everything in writing. Its up to you to prove anything and if its not in writing then it didnt happen.
