I can't decide whether to get somebody new or pump up an NP. Most of the new people I super want (Salter, Nito) are from classes where they'd have to compete with a lot of faves, but I rarely charge NPs to 200 even when I have that ability. Think I've got it down to Assassin of Nightless, NP3 Nero, or NP2 Marie or Astolfo.

Depends on what you want and or need. Nito is great for farming, but you gotta invest in those skills to get anything back from her. Np2-3 difference in damage isnt that great so unless you really want UMU then you can hold off on it. And between Marie and Astolfo it depends on whether you plan on getting Skadi or not. If you want Skadi pick Marie if not pick Astolfo. He has an NP charge and attack buffs to clear waves. Skadi allows Marie to loop her NP.

Who'd you use on proto finale?

Gil, Merlin, Martha, Friend Waver, Mashu and Sherlock.

Got lucky with the CE'S and had poster girl on Martha so she would bite the dust after tanking attacks, Gil nuked everyone on wave one, and wave 2 as well. Sherlock NP allowed me to bypass defense stack from Ozy and the Nero was alone.

Managed to beat all the CQs. Proto Finale was freaking hard. Jeanne and Amakusa were the keys to victory in the end. Wish I'd managed to succeed with Ishtar... Maybe I could've if I'd used Jeanne with her, but I figured double Merlin would be better for whatever reason.

Da Vinci one was super fun. Very tense, with unique and cool gimmicks. Liked it a lot.

I found the Da Vinci and KH ones very annoying but the proto finale easy.

Babylonia is pretty easy though. Just grab a friendly Waver or Merlin and hit hard with one of your DPS. Add Mash as a third servant to block damage.

6th singularity is Camelot, not Babylonia

Huh, skipped septem when I counted. Camelot is challenging unless you have a decent Orion or Euryale. I can lend an Orion if need be.

Huh, the final points node is kinda annoying. Two 300k HP enemies at the end. Stack those Wolves CEs

2 AOE zerkers work wonders in that node.

I don't remember this one well at all

Just farm expert and goddess nodes. If you have a friend with the bath CE then you're pretty much golden. Just try to convince them to put it in a support servant.

Anyhow quick and easy guide for farming

Expert
Kintoki rider with imaginary element
Arash with imaginary element
Support Merlin or waver with Bath or Dango boost
The rest with dango boosting CE

Turn 1 buff kintoki and crash into the enemy with your NP
Turn 2 buff arash and kill the enemy.

Same thing for the other node except arash first then use a ST lancer or Zerker with a good NP. Vlad, Cu, Tamamo, Enkidu, Hercules...

Gawain was a ***** and a half tho

Well Gawain is easier if you have a friend with Orion or Euryale. But as far as knights go my advice is find a Herc with its custom CE or Cu Alter. If it's a mixed node, of course.

I'm starting to wonder if Merlin is going to be like Jalter or Waver where I like the character but aImost everyone on my friends list is running them so I have absolutely no reason to ever want to pull them. I can definitely imagine that being the case, wonder if I should wait before pulling the trigger on him.

On one hand, you can't double Merlin. On the other you save money and sanity.
