Depends on the story, many science fiction stories define magic as something that cannot be understood or explained, so if it's understood, it's no longer magic.

Adam's been talking about this on Twitter and podcasts for months. For what it's worth, he seems really hyped. Though to be fair, he usually seems really hyped about most things, that's just his personality.

He's probably happy to be able to build fun things with a large budget again regardless of if the gimmick of the show is the kids.

As the name implies, the show will have kids on it, but they will be lead by Adam Savage.

If you weren't aware, they previously tried rebooting Mythbusters again with new hosts (who got the position through a reality show competition) after the original show ended, but the show was cancelled before they even finished airing all the episodes they made (I assume because it wasn't received very well).

Steam is a consumers' best friend and would have little problem with refunds.

Steam shut them down when they tried to monetize mods made by other people for themselves.

Also, Steam takes a cut of every purchase, including micro transactions, which is the whole reason Fallout 76 was made, to try and make a fortune off of micro transactions like every other AAA publisher, but which so far, Bethesda has failed to do (the Creation Club is hated), despite numerous attempts, because most people don't pay for micro transactions in single player games, so they made a multiplayer one out of the pieces of Fallout 4.

It's not like publishers are fighting for spots, hosting an E3 show is expensive. If anyone else wanted to have an E3 show they'd do it already.

EA's show is bascially for investors, not players.

This year's E3 was a huge disaster for Sony, but that's their own fault.

I don't know what is so difficult for these game companies to understand.

People don't want stage gimmicks, or pushed political agendas. Remember that most people are watching a stream and having gimmicks for just the press who are there in person is not impressive to a large majority of your audience.

Just show good games with game play one after the other. If your showing hardware show off the hardware's capabilities, and ensure you have pro consumer practices like no DRM.

Near the end it was clear they were kind of out of ideas.

Bethesda desperately wants to get into the micro transaction business, but because their previous games were focused on single player they could never get it to be popular (everyone hates the Creation Club, and on PC with mods it's literally trash).

Fallout 76 is the game they're hoping can net them massive profit from micro transactions, as a multiplayer focused game.

It's not really "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" if it's not about a high school girl dealing with high school problems, "but she's a witch" though. At it's core Sabrina the Teenage Witch is a comedy above all else.

This is a "gritty reboot" that's not really the same show at all but is using the same name purely for marketing purposes.
