What bugs me is when places have separate single-user bathrooms for men and women. I'm stuck standing around waiting for someone to finish in the men's room while the women's room is completely empty. There's a lock on the doors, just make them both unisex and get better throughput.

Just don't get the translucent version. While it sounds really hot to be able to see yourself inside and is great for taking photos or video, the material used is kind of sticky and just feels totally gross to handle.

Cleaning is actually pretty easy because they can be taken apart. Both the top and bottom unscrew (hehe, screw), and the sleeve can be pulled out. Just jam the back of the sleeve onto the end of the faucet, turn on the water, then giggle at the water pouring out the front.

Back in the 1980s Jack-In-The-Box almost sold burgers and tacos made with horse and kangaroo meat. The problem was mislabeled beef provided by their supplier, which was caught before being distributed.

And in the 90s they sold undercooked meat that was contaminated with fecal material. Hundreds of people got sick and 4 kids died from E. coli.

Jack's tacos are currently made with a mixture of beef and "textured vegetable protein" (a.k.a., soybeans).

In the UK, Taco Bell and Burger King both sold "beef" that contained horse meat.

I went to a convention a long time ago and made the mistake of not booking a room in advance. I got there and every hotel and motel in the area was full. So I stayed up for 4 days straight.

By Sunday, my brain kept falling asleep while I was awake and it was really trippy. I was doing crazy stuff like throwing paper airplanes from the balcony in the hotel lobby and climbing over the furniture. I think I spent at least an hour staring at the ceiling in front of the elevators.

And then I had to drive home from Buena Park to San Diego. Luckily I'd decided to leave at like 2 am, so there was very little traffic on the freeway. But my brain kept telling me I was asleep and if I'd thought that I could drive off the road, I probably would have. I don't remember anything about the drive, but I managed to make it home in one piece and then I slept for about 16 hours straight.

Bend up a paperclip or a piece of wire and jumper pins E1 and TE1 on the diagnostic port, turn the key to ON not RUN then watch the check engine light blink. Count the number of blinks and it will give you the error codes which you can look up online. Each code is 2 digits long with a short pause between digits, then there's a longer pause between each code, then when all codes have been displayed, there's a very long pause and all the codes will repeat. If there are no trouble codes, it will just blink on and off constantly.

https://troubleshootmyvehicle.com/toyota/2.2L/retrieving-trouble-codes-1

(This also works on pre-96 GM cars, just use connectors A and B. Each code is flashed 3 times and it will always start with code 12, which means the computer is working.)

I have a vegetable powder (LIVfit Superfood Blend) that I add to my cookies. It doesn't really taste like anything, so you'd never realize there are peas, carrots, beets, spinach, tomato, broccoli, etc in my chocolate chip cookies. I also use Kodiak Power Cakes flapjack mix instead of flour, it's made with whole grain wheat and oat flour and has extra protein. (Both of these are available at Costco.) And I replace half the chocolate chips with dried cranberries (craisins); the change is barely noticable. These cookies are almost good for you! Or would be if they didn't contain an entire cup of butter.

Here's the recipe:

2 cups Kodiak Buttermilk Power Cakes flapjack mix
cup LIVfit Superfood Blend powder
1 cup butter, softened
cup sugar
cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup craisins

Mix together the flapjack mix & superfood blend. In a separate bowl, cream the sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract and butter. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then slowly add in the powder mix. Stir in the chips & craisins.

Drop by the tablespoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet & bake at 375F for 10-12 minutes.

Allow to cool for 2 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.

You can try replacing the white sugar with cup of agave syrup and slightly increasing the flapjack mix; this will make a moister cookie that stays soft longer and reduces the glycemic index slightly, but you'll never achieve a crisp cookie.

Don't try to replace the butter with margarine, that was an unmitigated disaster.

Apparently he was brought in at the absolute last second with no time to prepare and then the teleprompter malfunctioned just a few seconds after the segment started, which is why he starts out OK but then things break down and he just did the best he could. Then he started ad libbing during the basketball footage. And boom went the dynamite.

I've done work at a wide range of hotels from 1 to 4 stars and here's what I've seen.

The lower end hotels tend to have a breakfast area that isn't monitored, but they generally don't have a particularly great selection, maybe some bacon or sausage, scrambled eggs or pre-fab omelets, potatoes, waffles, various breads, oatmeal and cereal and fruit.

The middle level hotels will often have cook to order omelets and a bigger selection of foods, but they check room numbers or issue tickets at check-in.

The high-end hotels usually don't offer a free breakfast, you've got to pay for it.

When I worked at the Corps of Engineers recently, the PC used to program the keycards to get into the building still ran Windows 95. It even had an AT power supply. But it was a completely standalone machine with no connection to the network at all, so security wasn't a concern, and if it works, don't fix it. The power supply finally blew a cap or something and quit working.

Amazon Drive with 5GB video storage plus unlimited photo uploads free with Prime membership. I mostly use it so I can put porn on my TV with a Fire Stick.

I have a Google Drive with 17GB, but hardly ever use it. And I have a Box account with 50GB but don't use it either. And I also have a 5GB OneDrive which I guess is used by OneNote to store my notes.

And I've got an FTP space that theoretically has unlimited storage.

First boss fight I ever really had trouble with was Apollo in Final Fantasy Legend 2.

He sits there and taunts you for 6 turns while you wail on him, then he transforms and alternates between Flare and Masmune attacks. He has 25,000 HP and is protected with Aegis so he's immune to all magic.

I finally figured out the key is to have everyone use SpeedUp (AGL+10) every turn until Apollo transforms then use CatClaw daggers (AGLx13 damage) and you can do 10,000+ damage each turn.
