I mean if you're going to hold up all evidence to word of god standards, lets be honest. The reason it takes so fucking long to execute someone on death row is because most of them are convicted on things like fingerprints, dna, hair, and so on, and that shit actually isn't reliable at all.

You don't convict anyone. A jury does. If a jury decides testimony is enough, then that's all they need.

And people get convicted on testimony alone all the time.

Or more accurately, testimony is given in defense, and the testimony is false, and the prosecution can prove something in the testimony is false, and that casts a huge shadow of doubt over the remainder of the defense's arguments.

It's in the break room. I don't work in the break room.

I guess technically I could take my laptop to the breakroom and work there with the TV in the background but the only time I've ever seen anyone doing that is during the World Cups / olympics.

I can watch it while I'm eating lunch in the break room, though. And even when I'm not there the TV is still on.
