Playing Torna made me want to play Xenoblade 2 over again from the beginning. Considering that NIS first person dungeon crawler that came out for switch recently. See people saying nice enough things about it and it'll fill that niche on my switch.

XBC2 is the type of game where I feel like I missed half the game because I didn't really get full invested into the last half.

Just got to meeting Cole for the first time and knowing what really happened makes their conversation and the play a lot heavier.

Yeah most of the Cole stuff was lost on me on my first playthrough.

I'm finding that the story is becoming a bit of disjointed and random and I'm losing interest a little bit during the orb hunting phase.

I'm gonna continue later and hopefully it picks back up a bit.

The game suffers a little bit from what they did with FFVI's back half.

The place I'm at now wasn't quite as pointless as I thought it was. The girl's academy seems to be sort of an important location for acquiring various things(like pearls)

Increasing minimum wage just makes the general cost of everything come up some. All we're doing is playing with bigger numbers.

That's only partially true.

The key thing to note is that by raising the minimum wage, it proportionally raises the wealth of the poverty-class people

Example: Average person has $100, poor person has $20, and biscuits cost $2 a piece.

If we raise minimum money to $40, and the average person has $100, and the poor person has $40, then yeah, maybe biscuits go up to $3 a piece, but poor person affords more biscuits. Things get worse for people not working minimum wage, you're absolutely right, but things get better for the minimum wage person, and they're the dudes that need the most help.

If I order a burger with no pickles and still have pickles, that person doesnt deserve more than $5 an hour, and thats less than minimum wage like everywhere.

On the other hand, I almost never have issues with my order at places like Chick Fil A, where theyre always properly staffed, have incredibly kind workers, usually fairly clean restaurants and parking lots, and believe that they easily are deserving of $15 an hour.

Garbo workers in garbo restaraunts dont deserve the time of day.

this guy acts like nobody else fucks up at their job.

Everyone in every profession is fucking up at their job. It's not just fast food workers making mistakes.

I can give you a massive tip that will probably help you a lot with the 'sponginess' of enemies thing you're complaining about.

Buy narcipear jam in Argentum Guild. Or any "recharge arts" item, in general. Put as much as you can in all your pouches and use it the rest of the game. It'll make arts much more spammable.

Funny story for you guys.

Sat down at the 10 token Poker table for the FIRST time, and bet 100 tokens right off the bat. Didn't realize how high I was betting, I just put something in.

So I slap down 100 tokens, and up comes 4 queens immediately.

Yeah I played DQ1 for my phone last month and beat it, and that was good too. DQ11 has been a faithful sequel to that so far. These are the only two I've played but it's looking like I might be playing some more in the long run.
