Yeah Amazon was a customer for the label company I worked for.

They were very demanding and made us go against our own SOP. Such demands included: keeping 10x the inventory on hand then we usually would Incase they ever decided they wanted to order it, packaging the label rolls in a completely different (I will admit smarter) way, canceling orders at the last minute (sometimes while they were en route costing the company 1000s to turn the truck around), ordering full truck loads outside of the ordering time window, and lastly someone (ha me, fuck you chuck from amazon) had to be on call 24/7 Incase they needed an "emergency shipment". These shipments could be anything from a single roll sent through ups/fedex/usps or multiple truck loads. I remember having to come in on thanksgiving (obviously a scheduled day off) at 11am (seriously fuck your mother chuck) just to load 6 pallets into the company truck and blow up the phones of the 3 truck drivers that the company employed to have them drive a 12 hour shift. None of them answered so the company had to pay $4000 for an independent driver to make the delivery. They lost about $2300 on that order just to keep amazon happy.

Everyone in shipping absolutely hated picking amazon orders because the smallest mistake (I'm not talking serious mistakes like wrong product, little shit like not putting their stupid "non inventory" tags on all 4 sides of the pallets or if they fell off en route) would have chuck blowing up the CFOs phone demanding action be taken on the picker.

They weren't even one of our biggest customers. I'd say they were 5th-7th in total sales. The biggest customer (Tyson) made zero demands and followed our SOP to the letter.

There shouldn't be a minimum wage. These corporations shouldn't be able to point to an arbitrary number and say "well if that's the number, that's the wage". If we didn't have one they would be forced to pay a livable wage or they wouldn't have employees.
