IGN can confirm that an animated-series adaptation of Capcom's popular video game franchise, Devil May Cry, is in the works. The series will be developed by Castlevania executive producer Adi Shankar.

Shankar, in an exclusive interview with IGN's Jacki Jing, also revealed that his Devil May Cry series will join Castlevania in what were now calling the bootleg multiverse.

While Shankar didn't give us any specifics in terms of what this all means for the series' overall story, he did inform us that he "acquired these (Devil May Cry) rights myself so the jabronis in Hollywood dont f*** this one up too." Shankar's financial investment should allow him more creative freedom, as he begins to build this wildly ambitious multiverse of his.

Shankar attributes the Devil May Cry series announcement to the success Castlevania, which he says, "really over-performed. It did crazy well. We immediately got greenlit for Season 3. Thanking the fans who made this all possible, Shankar said, I wouldnt have a job if it wasnt for the fans."

My family is notorious for using Christian teaching materials that specifically target the homeschool market. I read through some of the science worksheets they have to fill out and the basic answer to most of the questions is God did it.

I remember the History textbooks vilifying the civil rights movement. It presented them as basically causing riots to get what they wanted, and the pictures all showed black people looking vicious, and white politicians who supported segregation looking composed and professional. No mention of water hoses and german shepherds.

My parents backed off from the material, not realising how fundamentalist and conservative homeshooling textbooks were.

I was homeschooled for over 5 years. My parents didn't educate me at all. My attempt at high school ended with a panic attack. I spent the majority of my 20s learning just how to socialize. I also have dyscalculia (math dyslexia).

Institutions aren't just for education, they're for socialization - a term that by definition, doesn't refer to talking to people, but how to function in society. Homeschooling either needs to be done away with, or enforce parents to incorporate tudors instead of themselves, and pushing outgoing behavior.

promised myself i would finish it before moving on to other things.

JRPGs are the biggest slog for me. I like the genre, but I get tired of them pretty quickly. Once I saw how long P5 was, that made me lose interest.

I absolutely do. I was in trouble a lot during grade school so I essentially sat in the hall way and learned math by myself. I missed out on a lot of basic concepts that I never really grasped until well after High School.

Yeah, I just never did it. I didn't go to school for about 5 years, so I wasn't educated on anything in that time. I naturally learned English/writing-based curriculum from the internet and reading, but my present day math skills pretty much goes as far as the 4th or 5th grade.

Also, online dating works best as a supplement to your dating life. It shouldn't be the primary method for meeting girls. The success rate is low for most people, and if you put all your dating effort into that, the disappointment will be even worse.

any movie that had a normal theatrical wide release already beats anything like Zombie Nation. the worst movies are direct to video crap. even a bad movie that was in theaters has some quality control to it

It's never going to be as popular in society as it was was in the late 90s.

Even though the Pokemon "crazes" (late 90s gens and Go) seems to have died out, it's also the highest grossing media franchise. It's made $20 billion more than Star Wars.

I had considered it as a possible career option way back, but even then I knew that given the fact that my guides on GFAQs were free, easily accessible, and easily updateable, I knew back then that business model was doomed to failure.

That, and I imagine it would be less of a fun hobby if you had to contend with deadlines and not being able to choose what games you want to play

That's kind of how I felt about my love of film. I thought about being a film critic or professor. I'd probably be great at it. But if that was my job, I'd probably enjoy movies less.
