Are we going to pretend there isn't a segment of users that troll and harass other users on here that get suspended every other month but still have accounts and alts that they post on constantly? I know you can see their moderation history, and I know it's worse than 99.5% of users on these boards but, hey! What can be done?! I haven't seen the screenshots myself, but GameFAQs does not ban people for things said by them on other platforms.

I mean for one, it is easy to fake screenshots. (Not saying this happened here but...)

We have no way to verify if anything said off site was actually said by them, and they aren't bound by our rules off site anyway.

Using things allegedly said by people to attack them is going to be moderated when done on this site as it breaks the rules of this site.

Is enforcing ignorance of their behavior really a better alternative to using someone's words against them in an argument? That seems like a terribly draconian enforcement of rules that really only benefits those who would abuse others.
