Hell yeah. A bit grindy but going through all the eras was a blast. One playthrough I stayed as a flying dinosaur vs the final boss. Probably even easier than fighting the boss as a human...

It's a tool.

Has a lot of potential for good. Sometimes misused. Not for everyone but between marriage existing with the ability to opt into it versus not existing at all, I think it's a good thing to have available.

Unmarried couples can still breakup, have custody issues (more custody issues, actually), and have lifelong promises to each other which time will tell if truly honored or not.

Nah. If you're just going to go out and have some cocktails with bros and potentially snag someone, it's just not worth the effort.

But if it's a mostly guaranteed hookup it's ideal, yes. In cases where it isn't, there's a bit of a heads up like "hey, I didn't prep for this" and then both people feel it out accordingly. It's usually worth the risk assuming baseline feeling out of the bottom.

Ah. He's not bad, but in FFTA it's best to have a squad of about 11 people; Marche and then at least 2 of every other race. Some dispatch missions call for certain jobs/races so you want to be able to send them out while having a decent bench to be battle ready.

With montblanc in the mix and unable to dispatch, it's just a loss of exp/JP if you also need to have other moogle(s) for dispatch.

It's clearly a fantasy world. There are some moral merits to "living your actual life" instead of spending it all in Nevernever land, but the kid in the wheelchair now has friends and a position of power. The dad who's normally a jobless drunk is a judge. The girl who gets made fun of because of her hair and has to dye it constantly now doesn't. And Marche just drags them all back to reality and destroys the world and its citizens in the process.

Yes exactly this. I watched this movie when I was 16 the first time IIRC, and I thought he was really unlucky and she acted like a cow the whole time. Watched it again many years later and realised it was all his own doing.

That's also how I feel about Fight Club, tangentially. As a teenager Tyler was a badass. As an adult, Jack is an emotionally stunted individual and Marlene is better than him in every way (which is saying a lot)
