A lot of people play when it's high because they think the payout vs odds are closer to 1:1 if not to their favor, but what happens at that point is often multiple winners which lowers the payout to the point where it's not a breakeven and good old fashioned "house wins in the long run" gambling that's supposed to fund local education (lmao)

5 (aka, Dragon Quarter)

Despite being a radically different departure from the rest of the series, it's still my favorite. Tactical battle system, a "final score" system with additional scenes unlocked on repeated playthroughs coupled with quasi-NG+, and rogue-like elements like finite healing items and the ever-present doom/dragon counter.

After that it's 4. Cool world to get enveloped in and explore, combo system, welcome art, and random Fou Lo intermissions. Camera's a bit wonky at times, but eh.

Tend to be a little same-y inbetween iterations, but there's a few years gap inbetween entries so I'm fine with their pacing.

Quite fun to toy with party customizations and loadout. It's rather annoying that there is always at least a few bugged abilities.

Greatly enjoy the mapmaking, how they make status and binds moderately relevant even on boss fights. Some boss fights are a bit too gimmicky but better than the opposite.

Favorite class to date is the Prince! Passive heals with elemental weapon infusions... hnnngg...

Why would pre-fatiguing yourself shortchange the chest in particular? If anything, that's what you would want to do to target the chest. You can't truly isolate the pectorals since your arms have to support the load, so anything to tire your chest out is actually much welcomed.

Because in this example, triceps are the limiting factor. Chest isn't getting fatigued because the triceps already are.

In construction terms, let's say it takes 4 legs and 1 seat to make 1 chair. I felt like having a bonfire last night. I burned 20 seats for warmth and now have 5 left in my possession. And I have 100 legs. How many chairs can I make now?

It's a similar argument towards using straps or mixed grip for deadlifting. If your grip strength is what's holding you back, would you rather work out your back/hamstrings/glutes/whatever afterwards in isolation, or just rock the straps and then do extra grip training?

I don't see people eating less meat going to lower the livestock by a significant amount. Farmers generally sell to disturbors not the person who will eat it.

lower demand leads into lower production. Food waste is an issue, livestock food waste moreso. It's a matter of both culture and economics.

True. Or, less regulation and more just simply a reduction in agricultural subsidies towards meat production. Meat gets more expensive, demand goes down, supply goes down, methane production goes down. We also make less corn/wheat/etc as livestock feed which cascades into an arena of other effects.

methane from livestock production is most certainly a contributor to the greenhouse effect.

If we ate less meat (and to a smaller extent, also ate less dairy/eggs) it'd help from an environmental standpoint in not only less methane but more fallow areas and carbon sinks and decreased water demands.

It's actually recommended to do compound exercises last sometimes for this exact reason, so you're more tired and can get more out of less weight. Just another thing to try.

By whom? A novice benching 95 lbs ought to bench first. Since the bench press uses both chest and triceps, if one does skullcrushers (e.g.) and then moves onto bench, he's shortchanging his chest. Bench first ensures max out of both tris and chest, and then he can do whatever isolations he feels like.

I had a permanent retainer on my lower 4 central teeth for about 15 years post braces

Was annoying as shit for both flossing and eating, and I eventually got it removed after it popped out of place on a tooth while I was eating a carrot.

They've shifted a little bit; one of the ones in middle has moved backwards a fraction of an inch and another has rotated a few degrees. Not enough for me to give a fuck about; settled into place over the course of about 6 months
