Why are people pulling on the LMR lucky draw? Seems like a horrible trap to me... way too many that are bad, or for bad characters, or for good characters I can't use because I don't have anything else for them.

With my new Galuf USB I was able to get to 57% on Torment Gilgamesh and claim the completion bonus so that was nice. I'm still a long way from actually killing any of the torment bosses but I do feel like I'm making progress. I like how spending rubies and motes helps you get farther so you can earn more rubies and motes. I also kinda like the cobbling together your realm team aspect of it to try to cover whatever relic weaknesses you have, even if ultimately you're going to need to get more relics to kill the boss.

Galuf USB1. It's basically Vessel of Fate plus self en-earth so I think it'll be useful in the torment. I didn't have good buff/haste options there before... I tried using Sheepsong and I used the hastega ability but they didn't cut it in d???

I kind of just realized we're going to need water magic teams in 2 months and I have basically nothing. It doesn't even seem like there's a good banner to draw on... the current VI event has Strago's chain but the rest of the banner seems super sub-par. Fest banner 3 has Rydia's USB2 but the rest is ice or physical water. Even the next fest doesn't have much, just an Ice/Water USB and ASB for Lulu.

I'm still pulling on banner 1, but removing Tifa's LMR there really sucks. That along with Maria's LMR we're the top 5* items on the banner.

I wish I had more mythril. I think I probably will only pull on the earth banner, so it's nice they moved it to the beginning. (I think I will have 3 pulls after ROP and luckies... I think I'm only going to do the USB lucky and not the other two).

I wasn't going to do the 100 gem but after I saw Lopen's post I did and got Fujin's LMR. The only thing I have for her is her BSB which isn't that relevant anymore, but it's definitely a good LMR for her if I ever get to use her. Since I'm going to need a wind magic team eventually, she and Alphinaud seem like the obvious candidates.

Holy crap dude, Quina USB in the daily and Vivi USB in the ROP on the same day? Congrats. Quina USB is definitely good, I got it in the last ROP - but I think we will need to get her future LMR to make it really shine.

I was really hoping for one of Vivi/Zidane/Garnet's USBs (or CSB). Instead I got Vivi's LMR2 and Amarant's LMR... not a grand prize but not bad. I really need to pick up Vivi's USB sometime.

I'm jealous of that LM.

I've had to revise my opinion, the Glint IS legitimately good. Wish I had more of her stuff... I still have enough mythril for a couple pulls on banner 3 so maybe that'll come through.

I hate this game sometimes. The chain is definitely nice, I wish I had stopped there. The Rinoa glint is kinda nice, but easily the weakest of the FIVE Rinoa relics on the banner. The Quistis stuff would be great with her USB, but without it I think it's virtually useless.

That's fair. If I actually cared about Octopath I would be disappointed. They definitely tried to hype it but I was already so hyped about the Quinoa banner the only thing I really cared about was whether that was going to be delayed.

That Octopath collab is such a letdown. I would have been fine without new characters (it's not like I ever use Sora or Riku), but not even a banner? That's just too much. Just do a banner with some old tech that covers boss weaknesses, or something. Anything is better than the huge pile of nothing we got.

As for banners that actually exist, I got Balthier OSB. Pretty bad, but at least it's new.

It's just a pile of free mythril, which is just fine with me, since it's not displacing a normal event - we're still getting our regular weekly event (with a GREAT banner to spend the mythril on) tomorrow.

I was really hoping for Hauteclaire but instead I got Lightning's Glint and Noel's LMR... which is my first +ice armor! That's a great pull... I still want Hauteclaire though.

I actually kinda wanted Y'shtola USB just for completeness. But I didn't have her LMR so it's basically equivalent (since it's worse than her LM1 and LM2 which I already have).
