I watched it at home but without subtitles. In retrospect it probably would have been better to have them on but I had no problems following it.

I always recommend a book called "Japanese the Manga Way". The title makes it sound dumb and gimmicky but it's the best grammar guide, IMO.

I would also recommend Yotsuba as an easy first manga (best to start after you have a bit of grammar and vocab knowledge though)

Yeah it was pretty good.

Apparently some people saw the ending as "empowering" or something but to me it was just unsettling, as was the rest of the movie

Yayoi's meal actually looks the best, and I'm not just saying that. It actually has some grilled meat. I would definitely tell them to hold some of those bean sprouts though.

I'd probably also order Chihaya's drink.

Hell yes.

We had a list like this published in some county newspaper, and all these chain restaurants got voted as best in every category.

Like best sandwich shop: Subway (this really good deli in my town was like third place), best Mexican food: Taco Bell, etc.

I've flown it a couple times, you must have had a pilot who joked around a lot or something, lol.

I actually see posts here and there around the Internet about them carrying Idolmaster and Gundam stuff these days so I was thinking about hitting it up one of these days. The closest one is in the next city over like 30ish minutes away though.

I played a GBA one called Dark Duel Stories which I remember being pretty fun. Pretty sure I beat it.

I played another one called Forbidden Memories (IIRC) on the PS1 that was super difficult and I never got too far in it. I also played Duelists of the Roses or something like that on PS2 and didn't really like the gameplay system and didn't get far in it either.

I think those are the only ones I ever played.

the raid 2 final fight

I saw the Raid 1 and didn't really like it, actually found it pretty boring.

By the time it was on its like 7th 15-minute fight scene I just wanted it to end. I will admit the first couple action scenes were pretty great though.

Yeah, makes sense that everyone would be on that now.

When I was in college there were also Wiis and 360s around here and there but N64s were still surprisingly common given how it was already pretty old at the time. It was like the frat boy's console of choice.

Are N64s still super common in dorms?

When I was in college in the dorms like a decade ago it seems every dorm suite had one with Smash Bros and Mario Kart 64.

I would say 70%-30% single player to multiplayer. With most of that multiplayer time being just time waster games against random people rather than with friends. Titanfall 2 is the latest one I'm spending time in.

Even when I do play multiplayer it's rarely with friends. I'll play Splatoon 2 with my friend maybe once in a while, a few times a year at this point. We played Splatoon 1 together a lot but that was like the last time I played a game regularly with friends.

I used to play a lot more multiplayer and with friends more often in the 360/PS3 days but I've lost contact with most of them or they just don't play games anymore.

I really, really doubt he can write that well.

That's pretty impressive, especially to someone like me who feels dread whenever work asks me to whip something up on Excel.

I haven't actually played Stella Stage enough to see Shika yet, but that Blooming Star (I think that's what it was called) song that I saw previewed sounded really nice.

Vertex Meister was new with Stella Stage and I liked that as well. It was DLC though and I had to pay like 15 bucks for it IIRC

I usually go to bed around 12-12:30 AM and get up around 6:30 AM. I don't actually feel very tired at work and during the day.

Usually around 11:30 PMish I start to feel tired and should probably go to sleep then but I like to get as much free/leisure time in as possible.

My dad went completely bald at about 20, and I'm 28 and up until very recently I've had a full head of really thick hair.

However now it seems to be slightly thinning on top. Sucks but I hope it stops there or at least takes a few more years to get to the point of no return.

Despite all the people always saying "real life is turning into Idiocracy..." I still find that movie hilarious.
