Well, when I win the billion dollars in the lotto this week I will buy Namco, and I will fund the localizations. I'll probably also form my own idol group.

I'll probably buy Vesperia Day 1 regardless, it's one of my favorite JRPGs of all time. Not that I've played a huge amount of JRPGs, but I loved it.

Yeah that is indeed a pretty Japanese pricing model. Those otaku over there drop tons of money for this kind of stuff.

I think the mobile games were ports of PSP games.

It was probably Namco's way of experimenting to see if there was interest, but if you're charging 60 dollars for mobile games that need a bunch of DLC to be complete then obviously I don't think many are going to bite. So they probably considered it a failure.

Now that they're de-listed and the service ended, you can't get the DLC anymore if you do have the games since it was also taken off the app store.

iPhone apparently has this wonderful feature where it automatically deletes stuff for you to make room for updates and whatnot, so it deleted all my DLC a long time ago. So I just uninstalled the games.

Neptunia series sucks anyway.

NA/EU got the Shiny Festa games for iOS which I'm pretty sure got delisted now. They were crazy expensive when they came out initially, like 60 bucks each for mobile games. Also there were three of them.

What was also annoying is that I guess iOS apps can only be a certain size so they had to release like 3/4ths of the songs as DLC. IIRC it was free or mostly free but still annoying to download. The games went down to like 7 bucks each before they got delisted, that's when I got them.

Also I'm pretty sure we got the Idolmaster DLC costumes intact in one or more of the Tales games. I remember being annoyed when they cut the Madoka DLC costumes from Xillia or Xillia 2 so I hope nothing is cut from Vesperia this time.

I was planning on buying one ticket on the way home tomorrow, but my family gave me ten bucks so I guess I'll just get five for the whole family

Some of these criticisms are kind of weak, man. Sure you've brought up some legit ones but then there are these.

It seems like you kind of rushed through and didn't take it in, or else you'd at least realize that Ryo has some people he cares about that could be targeted, etc.

Sometimes though there is indeed really nothing to do (or you're tired of every side activity) so that definitely is a legit criticism of the game.

Several US states have had weed legal for a long time now, way earlier than Canada.

As a kid, I used to read these Sonic comics that had all the Knuckles Chaotix characters in them. I just had a Genesis though (with all the other Sonic games) so never got to play Chaotix. This was back before YouTube or anything so I used to want to get the required hardware and play it so badly.

Now however I've looked up gameplay for it on YouTube and it does in fact look incredibly shitty.

I played the game in Japanese, what I saw of the English dub it probably makes the game seem way cheesier.
