The real answer is that they enjoy gaming more than they enjoy other hobbies that you probably enjoy, and make sacrifices/compensations to their disposal income to reflect that.

Like a lot of the gamers I know think nothing of spending $500 on a graphics card but scoff at jeans that cost more than $30. Others hate going out to bars/restaurants unless the food is under $15.

Codeacademy is easy and fun.

With programming think about what kind of applications you'd want to use it for, and then figure out the types you'd need to get there.

SQL and HTML are a good place to start I think because they're very intuitive and get you to think like a programmer.

Motherboard: Asus H310M-K INTEL H310 Chipset, micro-ATX Mainboard w/ 2 RAM slots, HD Audio, GbLAN, USB 3.1, SATA-III, 1x PCIe x16, 2x PCIe x1
Memory (RAM): 8GB (1x8GB) DDR4/2400mhz Dual Channel Memory (Corsair Vengeance LPX w/Heat Spreader)
Graphics Card (GPU): MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Video Card (Single Card)
PSU (Power Supply): Thermaltake Litepower 350W Power Supply
Hard Drive (HDD & SSHD): 1TB Seagate BarraCuda SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 7200RPM Hard Drive (1 Drive)
Seagate Data Rescue & Recovery: None Selected

450. That's actually not bad going for a prebuilt machine. Comes with the OS installed so you don't have to faff around with that either.

Compare to PC Part Picker's budget build:
https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/guide/gq8TwP/entry-level-intel-gaming-build

This actually has (as far as I can make out) a better processor, with no OS installed. Bigger HD and better power supply though.

No. A scot might tell you "edin-brrruh" with a slight rolled R sound and sometimes when explaining how that sound works you stagger it out phonetically which sounds a bit like "edin-borrow", but it is not the same.

If we're just talking cities and you don't have a heap of time, must see London, must see Edinburgh. Skip Glasgow and skip middle England cities like Manchester. Honestly the touristy stuff in London and Edinburgh is great if you've never seen it before. If you had more time go up the highlands and the Isle of Skye if that sort of rustic beauty is your thing.

London is really far away from Manchester, which is really far away from Scotland. You can't do Scotland in a day either. Ireland is fucking way out. If you have 5 days pick like, 2-3 cities max to visit. Probably best to rent a car if you're planning on leaving the city at any point.

Glasgow is pronounced "glaz-go". Not "glass-cow". Edinburgh is pronounced "ed-in-bruh". not "edinburg", not "edinborrow".

We're honestly not interested in your Irish/Scottish grandfather/uncle/friend called Danny. Tell us instead about how to barbeque or be not totally emotionally repressed all the time. We're way more fascinated by your 300% Americanness than your 0.5% Scottishness.

Public transport is quiet time, unless immediately before or after a football match, in which case it's quiet time for everyone except a very obnoxious group of lads singing the same tone-deaf song you've heard in every soccer hooligan youtube video.

Please try not to make a fuss in restaurants, it's embarrassing for everyone involved. If you're in doubt about what constitutes "fuss", then a good rule of thumb is whatever it says on the menu, that's how it comes. Condiments are generally fine. If you're going to ask for a side be sure to apologise profusely for the trouble even though everyone knows it's no trouble at all.

Despite the above 3 points you are indeed most welcome. Just you know...don't speak positively about Trump or tories to anyone anywhere unless you want to have a very unpleasant time.

Don't worry about brushing up on your tea-making. I don't think anyone will ever ask you to. That's just far too much risk to even bear thinking about.

Cockfosters is indeed a tube station and it's ok to laugh every time.

Seriously can you teach us to be less repressed, we'd really appreciate it.
