You can pay $4.99 to remove all ads but in fact it only removes non-Sega ads. Plus, you still have to watch one to save the game, and I am still seeing non-Sega adds there, so this is literally false advertising. And on top of that, they force you to be connected to the internet to save, in case you thought you could enjoy the game and also skip the ads...

When a minion attacking with Overkill does more damage to another minion than the target can take, the effect of the Overkill is triggered. This can happen multiple times a turn and includes the attack that results in the attackers death.

And if its been a really long time, know that the game has changed a bit since then - theyve added teleporting for non-mages, NPC party members for when you dont have a group of other players, reduced leveling exp requirements, and added plenty of exp boosts, among other things. Give it a whirl.

Also if you HAVENT played it before, the complete collection is one sale for $10 right now so you can fill that whole in your FF main series experience. Go ahead and try it! Its fun!

Ive been playing for a couple months now and am really enjoying it despite mostly playing solo with a great many guides open on my phone. Because despite all those changes I just listed, you'll still need explanations of how to do a great many things.

if the last two expansions are anything to go by - announced at Fanfest, launched in the summer - you have until about June to play through two expansions. it's doable! if you're in ARR 2.0+ territory you're in probably the slowest part of the game, so it can only go up from there.

Thats pretty much exactly where I am but Ive been ignoring the MSQ in favor of powering up my soon-to-be-useless relic weapon (working on Atma tier right now). And like I said, playing 11 at the same time, which makes for some fun MMO whiplash.

Shadow stays behind to hold off Kefka while the rest of your group makes for the exit on a timer. Once you get there, youre asked if you want to wait or jump immediately. If you jump immediately, Shadow dies, and the game never tells you that it happened. If you wait, hell jump off with you.

bad idea. the character starts off as a cutthroat rebel with no honor and a really bad moral code, who only goes through a bit of development over the course of the series.

the problem is you know an animated disney cartoon is not gonna portray him with the way he was introduced to us at the beginning of the movie, and will be completely tonally inconsistent in the interest of making him a more 'standard' protagonist for their cartoon.

The words live-action are right there in the topic title so Im not sure why youre saying animated or cartoon.

No, just the original season pass (covers the three bro episodes and multiplayer) and the Royal Pack (which is all the other additions to Royal Edition that werent in the season pass; buyers of Royal Edition got both).

Yeah but they specifically said to do your trophies now so it sounds like the standalone version will be a separate achievement/trophy list.

And yet the PC version is just getting all the additions as an update with no standalone release.

Other news from the video:

Standalone version of the multiplayer mode Comrades will be released December 12, free to people who own the current version - but the current version will no longer work so get your trophies while you can. Unless youre on PC in which case the new bosses and other stuff will just be patched into the current version and there will be no standalone release. Original season pass will see a price drop to go with this.

Meanwhile in the single-player version, there will be a crossover with XIV that starts the same day, in which a Miqote names Yjhimei will cross from Eorzea to Eos to help Noct and the Bros take down XIVs Garuda.

Just announced via a special streamed video. Episodes Aranea, Lunafreya, and Noctis have been canned, leaving only Episode Ardyn coming out in March.

Also Episode Ardyn will have its own animated prologue to provide context so clearly theyve learned nothing from the complaints about 15s extended universe.

Actually they did learn something - the games director, Hajime Tabata, has left the company.

They just released a free expansion three years ago that makes solo play and leveling even easier than Trusts had already done, as well as serving as a giant wrap-up on the entire storyline. And it still gets small monthly updates. PS2 and 360 players got cut off two years ago though, so everyone playing now has to play on PC.
