My issue isn't even with people not knowing the difference between a magazine and a clip.

It's people who think that semi-automatic and automatic are the same thing.
It's people who have little to no knowledge of guns talking about how the AR-15 is somehow more deadly than any other rifle.
It's people who don't know the difference between a .223 and a .308 and what situations you would use each one in.

My issue is when the people without that basic knowledge try to then tell me that certain guns need to be banned.

Nah, more like a Taxi meter where you plug in your CC and it just has a rolling charge as you play.

Funnily enough, that's actually how the XBand worked on the SNES and Genesis. If you wanted to play online, you inserted a credit card (or it might have been a phone card, I can't remember) into the XBand modem itself and it continuously charged the card while you were playing onilne.
