I see you view cultural norms as some sort of rule of law handed down by God or something stupid.

If you truly want an honest debate on something is offensive or not anymore, which you don't of course or you wouldn't be constantly trying to deflect from the poi t that Resetera is a shit hole that pushes an agenda by whatever means necessary, you should certainly factor in context. For example whether wounds have healed or not. In the case of the Indian feather, the native Americans themselves sell out their heritage these days. Their culture isn't just about red skin and chief hats and turquoise and casinos.

A gaming website contacted them and Nintendo almost immediately replied to say it's getting removed. That's it.

Nintendo has not only purposefully removed this reference in every previous Smash Bros game they have censored the game itself when it was re-released on GBA in 2002.

This was going to get removed as soon as NoA picked up on it. It was inevitable with or without Resetera. Nintendo has done stuff like this before and they'll do it again. The only difference this time is that people picked up on the oversight before it was removed.

For a bunch of people who like to whine about people getting outraged over stupid shit you sure like to get outraged over a bunch of stupid shit.

Tldr

Sure it's possible this was a PR flub by Nintendo but they really shouldn't be doing anything to legitimize the Resetera Incels.
