The hardware was a hit or miss varied by developer to developer, I think the main weakness was the kind of music they used back then, it was okay for some games but completely grating in others.

Them introducing SEGA CD Redbook Audio capability was a step in the right direction, too bad that particular system never took off.

Regardless of any other aspects of the Proud Boys, in this case, it seems to be true that they did not start the fight and they weren't prowling around looking for a fight. For additional context:

- Prior to the event, a Republican headquarters was vandalized and threatening messages regarding the event were left at the scene.

- 3 Antifa protestors were arrested for assaulting and robbing a man who had left the event separately from the Proud Boys group.

- Antifa protestors instigated the fight by throwing objects at the Proud Boys (at least one bottle that I know of).

With that in mind, the Proud Boys were probably technically justified in responding violently to the antagonism. However, I think they lose the claim to self defense after they responded with such overwhelming force and continued to stomp and kick on the Antifa protestors after they had been defeated.

For what it's worth, apparently McGinnes has urged the Proud Boys involved to turn themselves in to police. As I've heard it, none of the Proud Boys were arrested at the scene because the Antifa protestors refused to cooperate with the police.

At the end of the day it doesn't matter who started it, these groups are extreme and what they're doing is wrong.

Basically the games no longer being marketable and free for the public by then since our games would be so ancient by their standards? Agree with TC, I think the hatetrain for Kotaku is a little silly and Kotaku has cleaned itself up since it's more controversial days.

I work for a general tech support / web development company and I can confirm 100% that the prices customers get charged are absolute ripoffs. The worst of all is when it comes to SSL certificates and antivirus programs; what you're paying for those is something like 90% profit for your tech person (or their boss) in most cases.

I've actually been wondering whether I should go solo. I could charge half what the big companies charge, produce a comparable result, and still be raking in the $$$.

If I recall I think they tried or (may have) laws preventing people from tying to undercut companies but I'm not entirely sure if that is countrywide or just by specific states.

For some reason they all pursue this same ideology even though it only works for a few CEOs who all engage in wage fixing to prevent others from rising up those corporate ladders. It's pretty sad what has happened to IT all-around, it has turned into a semi-bullshit advertising industry with tech used as the punchline.

and if it's not a semi-advertising industry, it operates today like some wild west robber baron capitalist scheme where they try to get a few steps ahead of the law in order to make big bank then the business model is that as soon as laws are put into place to prevent the kind of abuse they have been up to they will have all the money to be able to buy off the politicians and insert the loopholes necessary to continue doing what they do (aka Amazon).

what's also annoying is that they all hop onto the same trends at the same time they see Palmer Luckey making a deal with Facebook now all of a sudden every company and his dog wants a VR headset never mind that none of them have an idea how to make this a lasting business. Nintendo makes a bit of money with a NES Classic - all of a sudden everybody and their dog needs some stupid mini classic console as well there is scarcely few out there with an original thought or strategy in their minds and the same 'pundits' that would tell you 'oh a NES Classic won't ever sell - niche'.

When it comes to Open Source Software, Valley/big IT players ever proving much use to us or helping us in any way they just exploit and parasitize off open source software, they don't do anything to support it. In fact the entire aim seems to deprive it of oxygen and then redirect it so there is something for them to monetize.

Just look at OpenSSL, No one cared and was happy to leech off the unpaid labor until the devs couldn't keep up and then all of sudden big tech puts on this show.

If anything I think these companies are cynical and taking the piss along with the employees that work for them that want to blow smoke up your ass about this BS. That is why some people are taking no shit anymore from these guys. There are no bridges to build here anyways with these types - there is only a bridge that leads to an abandoned house where as soon as you enter, you get trapped in it and you get engulfed in flames and burned alive that's all you have to look forward to.

Emulators have a legal precedent, so you're fine but some still see it as a grey area.

If you have the actual disc then you're good to go, it is honestly the only other way than playing on a Fat PS3 (or through PSN Classics official built-in emulators) to get better resolution now.

Early model or later? Apparently even later phats aren't too bad, though I personally wouldn't risk it and I'd just get a slim or superslim if I was to get a second PS3. (My existing one is a superslim.)

He just needs to apply Arctic Silver every once in a while, and replace the Bluray Drive. Though I heard the Bluray Drive replacements tend not to play PS3 games for some odd reason.

I dunno about X360, but later models of PS3 are fairly reliable.

My PS3 Slim model is still running fine, but it isn't strong to handle demanding games which is a side effect of them downgrading the system's power.

It's funny because Anime and games had female protagonists for the longest ass time, it is just that we didn't exposed to a lot of them because a good chunk of them were never translated.

Because back then people just assumed Men wouldn't want to play a Female Protagonist unless they were super badass like Samus or something.
