It looks like the escrow/impound went from $320 to $268

We've been there for a full year, not sure if that's related.

Internet said it might be due to the assessed tax value of property going down, can I check this?

Any ideas would be cool

How'd you get that?

SO

When my cousin, his gf, and I were living together, we were doing some spring cleaning.

My cousin doesn't cover shit when he microwaves it, so there's food crud all over the sides and ceiling of it. I was cleaning the microwave, and his GF suggested microwaving a Tupperware container of water for a few minutes. The steam will loosen up the crud, supposedly.

So I nuke it for like 4 minutes. She wasn't wrong, it did make the crud wipe right off. Then I go to pick up the container, very carefully. Grab it slowly with both hands, pick it up, and it loses all structural stability. Instantly classes in on itself, spilling boiling water and melted plastic all over my hand.

My skin didn't even have a chance to blister. I swatted my hand with my other to and get everything off of me, and my skin went with it. Gross af

We've got both. Two dogs, three cats. They stay separate for the most part, except the youngest cat thinks he's half and half.

-Crating her and not crating her

You've already made her uncomfortable in her cage, now you have to retrain her.

Do you make her eat her food in her cage?
Do you cover her cage so she doesn't feel the vastness of the room?
Do you make the cage friendly to her by putting stuff of your scent in it and something she likes?
Did you hang out around her in her crate so she's okay with being in the crate while you're around FIRST?

Etc etc etc

There's a lot of steps to getting a dog used to a cage man

Right now she eats in the kitchen, separate from the other dog.

We don't cover her crate, but I will try that tomorrow.

When we first got her, we tried putting blankets, towels, old T shirts in there with her. She would unfortunately only use it to cover up her poop.
So we stopped putting things in there with her, because she would poop or pee, pretty no matter long she was in there.

I wish we would have had more time to prep her, but we had to go back to work like the day after adopting her.

You need to accept the fact that not all dogs are the same. Some puppies have no issues with potty training after two days in a home, some take months. Some suffer from separation anxiety, some don't. Some need physical stimulation, some need mental stimulation, some just want to nap.

Yeah the 4 dogs I've trained over the course of my entire life from puppyhood to their ends must all be well behaved by coincidence

Pretty much this. I've even asked you why you don't cover your dogs cage and you had 0 response

Wasn't trying to ignore you yesterday, had a lot of replies to go through. And honestly I was just very overwhelmed.

Do you cover just the top, all sides except the front? Or what.

I will try that to see if it freaks her out any less.

I know crates are supposed to be like dens for them, if properly acclimated to it.

What are my solutions, again?

-Pay $100/hr per session, or up to 2k for a full boarding school.

-Make her an outside dog, which isn't much of an option for her, with how much she likes to eat mulch, rocks, and grass. She will stop when you tell her to, but if she's unsupervised she goes for it.

-Crating her and not crating her

I'm not unwilling to try new ideas. I'm honestly down to try pretty much anything that will help with her. But some things just aren't viable for our current situation.

Deadsite, it really feels like you think I just completely ignore her when I'm home. That I don't spend any time training her, or trying to correct any bad habits. That simply is not the case.

If your pup still has these types of habits 6 months into having it you haven't done a sufficient job training it.

My pup is only 6 months OLD and he's already a god damn angel. I can leave him out of the cage and he won't do anything but he even prefers being in there now when I'm not home.

You have a high energy dog and leave it in a crate for hours at a time.

I'm not criticizing you because I made the same mistake with a beagle and he was a fucking asshole.

Next time get a lazy breed like Pit Bull that just wants to sleep all day and do nothing. It's so much easier than the hunter gatherer types with infinite energy

We were trying to let her out of her crate while we're gone, in slowly increasing increments.

First was like 20 mins, then an hour, then a couple hours. Yesterday was all day. This is what I came home to.

Who wants a dog?

I mean... you got a dog bred for herding across vast tracks of land and are keeping it in what looks to be a moderately small apartment. Your dog is a great and intelligent breed, but honestly this looks like you just didn't do your research. Not every dog will do well in every type of environment.

It's a house with a fenced in yard. But yeah not a mansion by any means.

I'm so fucking livid.

Leave your dog in the yard then. Its not that bad for them. Just make sure she cant dig her way out. You're gonna have to be patient. If you put the effort in you'll have a great dog but if you dont have the time for a dog that needs the energy and attention that they demand i would give her up

I would do the yard thing, if she wouldn't eat mulch/rocks/weeds
