Ok so I saw that ridiculous pitch thrown at a batter and saw a lot of baseball fans defending it on twitter as part of the game. And it raises a few questions for me

Why is pitching at the batter acceptable but the batter charging the mound in retaliation not acceptable? If the pitcher wants to dish it out, then he should have to take it back

And why is pitching at the better acceptable but a bat flip is completely unacceptable? Pitching at the batter risks injury and is a sick move but a bat flip is completely harmless yet people cry about it so hard when it happens. That just seems ridiculous to me

I am completely clueless when it comes to Baseball. I only watch it in bars when theres no other sports on

Disappointed but can't say that was unexpected. Ravens just have my number due to my offense being so bad and their defense being so good. I'd say even though I have the lead right now, they are comfortable favorites to take the division. Probably need to go 5-1 or 4-2 and I think 2 to 3 wins is the likely outcome

On the plus side my defense seems ok and is likely to all return except maybe Raheem Brock. So I can focus all my offseasons assets on offense for next year.

I see Chiefs are going for the unlikeliest wins this season with wins against Dolphins and Broncos. That game looks ridiculously lopsided. 420+ yards for the Dolphins and looks like hardly anything for the Chiefs?

Yeah I looked up season 1 stuff and saw how they had his ice costume and realized why they would stop doing it. I assumed it was reversed.

In the sports arc, they are all in sports uniforms not costumes? Like Bakugo doesn't have his gauntlets and Ocacho can't be in her costume given the tactic she tries in her fight.

Deku also definitely isn't in his costume either. He's in the blue UA sports uniform rather than his green thing with the hood/mask and smile grill.

EDIT: Just checked Todoroki is in sports uniform for that fight. That being said I know what you're talking about because later in the season when Deku is in costume alongside Todoroki, he's in plain blue stuff rather than his season 1 stuff. Which to me just says they probably didn't intend on Todoroki plot going the way it did when they did his season 1 outfit or just didn't think about it. Although actually his ice terminator stuff is over his non-ice side in season 1 so maybe they just changed plans or were trying to hide that side or something.

Isn't half his body being covered in Ice his costume? And costumes are also designed with their quirks in mind to amplify them / account for weaknesses? He isn't wearing his costume in the sports arc.

That being said, it's a plot point that Todoroki doesn't want to use part of his quirk despite him using said quirk in Season 1 and having no issue using it to melt the ice he creates on multiple occasions.

If you didn't like the USJ section of Season 1 (and it sounds like you didn't) then I can't see you liking Season 2 any more than you did Season 1 to be honest. It's an improvement over Season 1 as a whole but it doesn't really get significantly better than the USJ arc or anything, it just doesn't fall back to the levels of the start of Season 1.

So many questions when it comes to two completely invisible people reproducing. Unless the visibility is voluntary, it hasn't shown Hagakure as anything but invisible from what I've seen so far

Oh I didn't ever check as everyone always told me they were bad. I assumed lack of a dokkan was why given that post

Linked with the above, do they ever cover what would happen if a One for All user had kids?

Are all the great apes getting Dokkans or just the ones in the picture?

I can see how that's possible. I've been in relationships where girls put on that amount it weight over time and I could only notice when they had clothes off or if I looked at old photos

Problem is for wrestlers, typically the noticeable areas are going to be exposed. It's going to go to the waist and thighs area for most girls

The only caveat I'd add to that is that sometimes it's just not possible to hit the required body type. Obviously not for everyone but for example I'm underweight and I still have to eat 3000-3500 calories a day to maintain my weight, not even put on weight. I have at times consistently eaten 4000+ calories a day in an attempt to gain weight and I put on weight for like a week before my body reacts and says no more and flat lines.

So I can certainly sympathize with people who are overweight and unable to lose weight despite their best efforts.

And I guess maybe that is not any different ti being bad at an aspect of a job and being physically unable to improve it.

Yes and no unless it changes past the point I saw. Gran Torino said that All Might was instantly compatible with it and didn't experience the same issues Deku did.

Also All Mights character arc is at a completely different stage to Dekus even if they share an identical story. And All Might's character and story is just better

Well Wrestlers don't have an alternative to go to if they piss off the top. In most other sports/entertainment you can move teams / companies without losing out on a ton of money. Plus there's no governing body to defend them from their employer doing anything shady

Wait what's wrong with Kevin Owens? His size doesn't impede his wrestling ability. If it did it would be a valid complaint but he's still capable of having a very diverse moveset.

I mean look at Bam Bam Bigelow. Him having that mobility at that size is what made him a special act.

Are SR Teq Unbridled Horrors Androids 17 & 18 worth investing in? I may replace GT Trunks with them since I noticed they can be upgraded pretty highly.

They take a lot of investment to get to LR and I'm certain some of the events you need to do to get them to that stage you will be a long way from being able to clear

That being said, Season 2 pacing is still pretty bad too. It's kind of double edged. I like that they give tertiary people time and actually show their matches instead of just covering it in like 5 seconds like other shows. But it does also feel like the first arc in season 2 could have been wrapped up 4 or 5 episodes quicker.

And again the issue is they spend so much time on arcs like that and then give things like the USJ and Stain only a couple of episodes. If they are going to do that then they need to make the other arcs have similar pacing

The first season is definitely weaker than the rest. I'd say it doesn't really start getting ok until the entrance exam and the only good part of season 1 is the USJ arc. My girlfriend gave up on it after the first 2 episodes but then was interested again towards the end of season 1.

Like the first few episodes are like a 2 or a 3 out of 10. Once they actually start introducing the school and other characters it gets up to like a 5 or 6 and then by USJ I'd say maybe a 7 or 8. Its the super slow pace rather than the content that drags down season 1. It feels like it should have been 6 or 7 eps instead of 13.

MHA is pretty great. Havent read the manga and only seen the first two seasons though. I wish some of the supporting characters got more screen time like Jirou and Mina, but otherwise its been handling things pretty well even if the pacing was slow in S1. Bakugo is pretty dumb and I wish he wasnt a main character since there are lots of others Id rather see getting screen time instead.

I was amazed that Bakugo consistently tops popularity polls in both Japan and the US. Like the fuck, he's one of the worst characters because he has no normal mode. Only irrational and shouty and angry for no reason at all. And we have seen his backstory and it doesn't remotely justify it

Also the one thing MHA should have done but doesn't is fucking kill someone. Like it teases it so often and it would have had massive impact but then it pussies out at the last second and everyone is ok. Thirteen should have died at the USJ and it made it look like she did but nope. Aizawa looked like he was gonna die but nope, he was fine. Looked like Froppy would get it too but nope. Same in the Stain fight, they couldn't even kill off his brother. They tease it too much without ever following through and it frustrates the hell out if me

Future Trunks is basically what Gohan should have been when he grew up. And it sounds like Future Gohan may be like that. Whereas they absolutely butchered normal Gohan once he became an adult

Right, the point of Stain isn't in his fighting prowess. It is his beliefs and that he is actually correct in what he says even if he takes it to the extreme. I wish they actually pushed more on people agreeing with Stain because he speaks the truth rather than 'Oh Stain is so cool' which is the direction they seem to push it. They needed to have people come out and agree with Stain's beliefs rather than just him gather a following and popularity through normal people fanboying him.

Maybe that happens in season 3 which I haven't seen yet

Nobody both surprisingly and frustratingly given how frequently people are in my area and my willingness to meet up. Offered multiple times but nobody has ever taken me up on it

I binge watched season 1 and 2 recently and I really enjoyed it. The pacing can be slow at times if a certain arc isn't that interesting to you. Especially because it has a tendency to have long arcs with the duller storylines and then the more exciting action parts outside the school are tied up in like 2 or 3 episodes before lapsing back to the school stuff. However, it does what it sets out to do well and I do like the continuity not only when it calls back stuff from earlier episodes or seasons but also just during scenes. Like they didn't get lazy with animation and actually stay consistent with battle damage, etc even when the person involved is in the back of the scene / small. So many other shows just ignore that stuff.

My main complaint would be how annoying / one dimensional Bakugo is given how prominently feature he is. Nobody is that shouty and angry 100% of the time for no reason. That and it doesn't feel like Deku is actually ever challenged, he is just sort of going through the motions and even though he develops, it feels like it's too easy. I far prefer All Might to Deku.

It's an enjoyable watch though.

Trying to weigh up if that discount banner is worth pulling on. Nothing on there looks that pull worthy. I already have the AGL Golden Freiza and Turles Great Ape.

Also are any of the anni coin purchaseables worth rainbowing? I have coins left over even after buying all Kais and not sure what to spend them on

I just sell them but you might be better off feeding them into people for training. I don't know how generous the game is with training items at the start now. I'm not the best person to give training advice as I had 100's of the high end training items when I started back so I just hit auto everytime.

Make sure you keep dupe SSR cards though for Hidden Potential down the line. I don't think there's many SR cards worth using longterm but they will probably serve you well for a while.

Oh and I don't know if anyone has mentioned it to you yet but it looks like there's a Rising Dragon Carnival coming in 2 days. You should save stones for that. Or grind stones for that.

Least I am pretty certain that is a great banner to pull on based on what Reddit said. It didn't exist when I last played and I only recently came back. But doubled SSR rates and a guaranteed SSR sounds pretty good

Later on there's quests that require you to use 'X amount of Z Fighters'. I'd imagine you'll easily accumulate more of them though through friend summons and stone summons. So depends on how tight your storage is.

I usually just sell them to Baba if I can or sell them for zeni if I can't.

Binge watched My Hero Academia over the last week based on a recommendation. Hulu stops the dub at the end of Season 2 and only has sub for Season 3. Is Season 3 not dubbed yet? I don't like watching subs as I tend to multi-task when watching.

It's a mobility company so you either install stairlifts or fix them. But they are trivially simple to work on and install.

The base pay isn't great ($16-18 per hour for installers, a bit more for service techs) but they also get paid a bonus per install ($70-200 depending on the job). Most of the wage comes from the time and a half over time people just naturally accrue because scheduling books guys 9-5 and books them right but we pay drive time. So most people end up working an extra hour or two a day. Plus we let guys work as much overtime as they want so if somebody wants to work every weekend then they can. I'd say the average guy gets $60-80k easily though

Also gives decent benefits. 20 days paid holiday a year, 3% matched 401k, free healthcare (but a HSA plan or you can pay $100 a month for a subsidized non-HSA)

Better question is how many people didn't realize (or still don't realize) that September is mostly summer.

This is the true mindfuck depending on where you live. By the time September rolls around you can be in the 30s and 40s sometimes in England. It's kind of the same for Winter though. Winter only starting Dec 21st when it can be snowing and freezing cold months before that.

Like as a kid, purely based on the English climate, I'd have pegged winter as Nov to Feb, spring Mar to late May, Summer late May to late Aug, Fall as late Aug to Oct.

Now as a Floridian seasons are pretty irrelevant. It's like Apr to Sept is hot, rest of time is slightly cooler with some potential for the 40s in Dec and Jan

Oh man I feel so sorry for my last arena opponent, especially as I got rolled first game so this was a 0-1 deck

Ended up getting Shrieking Shroom popping out a Divine Protector with Sword of Justice in hand. I then threw a Cobalt Scalebane behind the Divine Protector after clearing the board and used a Faceless Manipulator on it next turn.

So opponent was staring at a 10/6 Scalebane, 5/2 Divine Protector and 9/5 Cobalt Scalebane at the start of turn 7. I then used a Shattered Sun cleric to deal 25 damage lethal.

Got the discover a deathrattle rogue legendary. Looks ok I guess? Not looked at rest of set too much as last set didn't interest me so not played much
